I’ve had a LG C1 for about five years now and have played the game a lot every one of those 5 years, and I don’t have a hint of burn in. Recent OLEDs seem to be much more resilient than they were when they first came out. I was hesitant to buy one because of your same concerns and ended up also buying an extended warranty that ultimately I didn’t need.

I’m probably jinxing myself for the rest of the games, but it hasn’t been that bad for the first 3, 1st game was 11-5, 2nd was 3-0, and the 3rd was 4-1 before the guy dashboarded on a homer.

Mine is messed up as well, was supposed to be in gold 1, but am in silver 2. I was looking forward to playing on Hall of Fame all weekend, but now am stuck on All Star.

Another homer today. I really hope he gets something, I hit really well with the his hyper card a couple years ago.

I usually hate the SDS hates X team or player, but it really seems like it doesn’t it? In one of the roster updates they completely nuked his contact vs L. He’s a career .316 hitter vs L and has a couple down weeks with not a huge sample size and they make him borderline unusable.

The boost they gave him is a joke. Morel LS boosted card got better treatment for 5 hits lmao

They stick to thee overall for supercharge and unfortunately his defense is too [censored] good so they didn't upcharge his hitting enough.

But cover boy was a 99 when he got boosted.

Goldy was 99 every time he has gotten supercharged also, no reason they couldn’t do it for Arenado.

If you don't have the disc version of the PS5 then you may be out of luck.

No I have the PS4 disc. According to their website FAQs it mentions that I can upgrade for an additional $10.00 (https://theshow.com/faq/)

When you were looking in the PS store was your disc in the system? It might have to be to even see the option. I had a similar situation with another game (I believe it was Ghost of Tsushima) where they had an upgrade to the PS5 version but it wouldn’t show up in the store until I inserted the PS4 disc.

If there is an All-Star program then Sizzling Summer can only last 2 weeks.

3 weeks would put it after the AS game.

You’re right, I must have looked at the calendar wrong. I still think this next one will be a short program before the All-Star one.

It more than just conquest and showdown, I’ve had it crash to the dashboard twice at the lineup screen in my last five RS games. This has been an issue since early access weekend, I can’t believe it hasn’t been fixed by now.

It’s not too much of a grind, pitchers are easy to level up, especially when they hit well enough to get points for that also. I took the cover version in the pack with the deluxe edition, liked using it so much I saved up to buy the LS.

If you have a card at P5 and it has a mission to earn XP with it, you can’t progress the mission. I have both Ohtani cards at P5, I can’t get progress for that mission. At least these are repeatable so I can do another one of them twice.

You didn’t answer my question. You have zero proof. You are just assuming that they are using timing hitting.

I’ve been using it…you cheese your opponents to death with it….with bare minimum effort.

Interesting that they added Timing and removed opponents feedback at the same time.

Last year it was called "pure analog". The only difference was you couldn't use buttons, your only input option was the right stick. Did you complain about it last year, or is it just the name change that's got you all worked up?

You could use it with buttons as well. Using directional without moving the stick is the same as timing. It’s been that way since they originally changed timing to directional and added the ability to aim where you wanted to ball to be hit.

Once a player plays in a game, they are normally added in the next roster update unless the first game they played in was within a couple days of the update. There have been rare occasions where there’s a delay due to issues the devs can’t control.

So, did you get both?

I got the DD for Xbox, but FedEx hasn’t delivered my physical MVP version for PS5 yet. It was supposed to be delivered today, but the tracking says delayed and claims it will be here tomorrow. Hopefully that’s correct, I don’t want to wait until Monday for them to deliver it.

Can we all at least agree that $50 without a SINGLE diamond pack is a little sad? You get two golds that probably won't even be on your bench within a week, and a bunch of common and bronze garbage from the 10 Show packs. You can all spend your money however you want, but I still think there is a football field sized middle ground here they could have ventured into...

I agree here. If SDS is intent on screwing over xbox users for early access, at least give them the same package as the deluxe edition people are getting.

I don’t think the intent is to screw over people, just to drive them to buy the $85 or $100 versions of the game. Which at least worked on me, as I’m getting the DD on Xbox, just like I did last year. In my opinion, it’s just a bad look charging $50 for so little, when other games in similar situations allow upgrades to their deluxe versions for just the price difference between standard and deluxe.

If this exact package was $25-30, I doubt anyone would complain and a bunch of people who don’t care about Diamond Dynasty would pay it just to play early. Then it gives people like myself who enjoys Diamond Dynasty a compelling decision between getting the DD or MVP versions or getting this package and buying some stubs to offset not getting any bonus cards.

You did. It’s just a stupid thing to complain about when you have more options than everyone else. If you’re cheap, wait a few more days and play for free.

No… If you have Game Pass, you are getting the game for free with an option of getting an $85 value for $50. These are the best 2 options available on any console and you are whining about it.

Where’s the option to get an $85 value for $50? Assuming that you’re talking about the MVP edition being the $85, compare what that has and what this early access bundle is. The bundle is worse than even the MVP edition, which is the whole point of the discussion here that it’s overpriced. Instead of buying this bundle, you’d be better off buying the physical MVP edition, playing with that until Tuesday, then selling or trading the physical disc once the standard is on GP.

Milwaukee isn’t a bad place to see a game, it’s easy to get to and park and you know there won’t be rain delays or postponements. I got tickets to see the Cards there in June. Got 2 tickets first row behind the Cards bullpen and parking for under $68.
