$10 upgrade from standard PS4 to PS5 digital

Hey everyone,
I'm trying to get an answer from someone on this but I have the PS4 standered disc version of MLB The Show 22. The website mentions I can upgrade it to the PS5 for $10. I am unable to find the $10 upgrade in the PSN store. Does that only count for the PS4 digital or should I be able to upgrade my disc too?
Any information anyone can give me that would be awesome.

Do you have a Disc version of the PS5? The disc has to be in the drive.

If you don't have the disc version of the PS5 then you may be out of luck.

No I have the PS4 disc. According to their website FAQs it mentions that I can upgrade for an additional $10.00 (https://theshow.com/faq/)
You can, but based on the link I included you have to have the disc version of the PS5 console.
The ps4 disc has to be inserted into the PS5 so that it can validate it and allow you to upgrade. If you bought a PS5 console without a disc drive then I think you are out of luck.

Just play on Xbox. It's free with GamePass and upgrading to series is free as well.

From the FAQ:
"If you plan on purchasing the Standard Edition of MLB The Show 22 on PlayStation 4 or Xbox One and have plans of upgrading to the PlayStation 5 or Xbox Series X|S version, you will need to purchase the digital edition to take advantage of the $10 USD upgrade offer."
You need to have the PS4 disc in the console to play the PS5 version (I don't think there is a PS5 disc. I believe those who bought the standard PS5 version got a 4 disc and had to download the 5 version). The way the FAQ reads, you should be able to download the digital 5 version for $10.
Have you tried looking at the "more" options of the 4 version to see if the upgrade is there? Last year I bought the dual entitled version, got the 4 disc and the download for the 5 version was under "more."

When you were looking in the PS store was your disc in the system? It might have to be to even see the option. I had a similar situation with another game (I believe it was Ghost of Tsushima) where they had an upgrade to the PS5 version but it wouldn’t show up in the store until I inserted the PS4 disc.
