Who do you have at first?

Right now, unless I'm doing Missions, I've been using LS Red Sox Award Kevin Youkilis.
I also use MA Rizzo here and there.
But I just picked up CA Ortiz.
Now, whomever I use will be a placeholder until they release a 99 Ortiz.
Youkilis is close to P2. Rizzo is P1. And Ortiz is fresh out of the pack.
I'm thinking of keeping Youk in until I get him to P5. And then putting in Ortiz while keeping Youk on the bench.
I know each card plays differently; but I'm still looking for suggestions.

Because he's a beast, and I play mostly with guys I like and not with the best available

I treat all my positions like the bullpen. I rotate them out every 20-25 games or so.. I try not to use same cards everyone else uses.

P5 Todd Helton. Probably will be there until a better Helton comes out. Just a well rounded card with Diamond defense. I’ve always hit well with his cards.

Ever think, (now this may be hard for someone to picture that doesn't think outside the box like you) some people use players better than others?
So a player who you can't use because you time his hits wrong or whatever you're bad at doing with him, someone else is good at? You're welcome for having your mind blown by the way. Enjoy your weekend little buddy.

I used Cron a lot early. Switched to Vlad Jr. before he was heavily downgraded. Now I've mostly been using Giambi and Delgado.

I have Frank there right now. Devers is really good, don't compare his stats to others, he actually crushes lefties. Prince is solid but really just against righties. Bell was surprising good for his cost, he was clutch. Rizzos swing is nice but I found myself yelling at him on the bases because he is slow af. I also tried Vlad Jr, he was better before they started down grading him. If you have a bunch of stubs Pujols is probably the best, right there with Frank.

I love LS Freeman at first. I have a hard time taking him out of the line up. When I do use another card I always go back to Freeman.
