@easy_duhz_it__mlbts said in This is just horrible!: This is why i havent touched online this year. I'll continue the offline grind while other people waste their time earning (or trying to earn) cards that they're gonna sell anyway and i'll just buy them when the price drops. Let me see if I understand this correctly. So you buy cards to beat the CPU on rookie? That doesn't sound like much fun. I need a competitive grind so online isn't that bad to me.

What "competitive grind"? Half of the people in here [censored] and moan about everything related to online. Freeze offs, bunt cheese, R2 spammers, lag, opponents [censored] poor PCI placement and the fact that they get homeruns on horrible swings while all your* perfect/perfect are lineouts at the track, superman dives, progress/innings not counting for programs....and the list goes on and on.
Whats "competitive" about crying over every aspect of online? I guess sitting in a freeze off for 2 days would be considered "competitive" but i'll play my game, thanks lol
I swear some people in here are never happy. All we've heard since launch is how hard it is to get stubs, we dont get packs like last year....now they give us 50 Show packs, 8 Ballin packs and 15,000 stubs after 500K and y'all still complain.
So you have horrible internet and can't wait for your pitch. Sucks for you.
No one really believes you're leaving but if by the grace of God, you're serious this time can you please take that Parradox clown with you?
No. Just a reset of the mini seasons challenges.
Get on base 30 times - 1 Show pack
30 RBIs w/ 2nd Half Heroe Series - 1 Prospect pack
50 Ks with Rookie/Breakout series - 5 Show packs
Beat all 7 teams - Headliners pack 7
Finish regular season in 3rd or better - 1 Show pack
BONUS* 20 steals on All Star or higher - 1 BIAH
BONUS* 10 wins on Hall of Fame or higher - 1 BIAH
Mystery Mission* - Should have stretched first - 1 Bronze Mystery pack
Mystery Mission 2* - Maybe i should try a new bat - 1 Diamond mystery pack
Definitely buy a 50 pack so you can come back here in an hour to tell us how you sold all the dupes from the 50, made 2300 stubs and pulled no diamonds.

It's always, I only lost of RNG. Never I only won because of RNG.
People have this weird thing where losing a game is due to RNG, the game itself working against them, some sort of hack or weird glitch....but when they win, it's because they're the greatest to ever pick up a controller.

Offline is for simps
If offline is for simps, online is for bedwetters that cry about everything from not being able to get hits to freeze offs, lag, PCI placement on opponents homeruns, foul balls, bunt cheese, rage quitters and R2 spammers.
We can play offline and get pretty much the same rewards with none of the stress and wasted time.
Freeman.
Every year, dude hits bombs. He's the first diamond i buy every year.
There is no "next gen". Its current gen and last gen. Maybe you should get a current gen console and then when you get wrecked on that, you can find some other excuse.
The difference between PS4 and PS5 or the XBox versions is minimal. But some people need every excuse under the sun to justify their losses.
Wait....you're disappointed over a 90+ Awards, left handed pitcher card that can go towards collections but you're excited about an 85 LS diamond that can go up or down every other week?

Why would you spend stubs on Diamonds to paly the computer on rookie? Ahh, I get it now its because you are considered food to your opponents online. You would prefer to have a false sense of accomplishment by beating the Orioles on the lowest difficulty possible instead of testing your skills against a capable opponent. I fully understand now. And this is why he, and many others, stay away from online play. People like you that think the ONLY way to play this game is to play other people online so they can float about a fictitious batting average and ERA. You like playing against other players. He, and others, like playing against the CPU. Neither way is wrong. It's all preference. Good point! All I was trying to do is understand why one would put time and energy into such a brain numbing grind. What's the purpose? You would have a good enough team to compete with the CPU on day one of release. Maybe there is something I'm missing by playing online exclusively. There is alot you are missing actually! Your assumption is what sticks out the most! You assume everyone play Orioles for one, then you assume everyone who plays offline plays on rookie. When you set your settings to Competitive the CPU plays completely different than years past. AI has been improved upon in numerous ways. Making the experience the funnest it's been in at least 5-7 years. So the point is people want to play competitive baseball without the BS that plagues Online h2h gameplay. SDS has accomplished that and I am very thankfull for one. "Online h2h Only" type players are a majority of the reason the game never gets better. Due to the fact b/c they can never agree as to what makes mode better. Instead every year people find a new way to cheese, then it gets showed on a stream or you tube video and next thing you know everyones trying to do it. I just don't see the point of grinding for the best players and not taking them online to see how they can hold up to a 102 MPH outlier FB. 102mph outlier fastballs exist offline too. You do realize this, right? Really?! They have outlier fastballs offline too?! Thanks for clearing that up professor. Its different when its down the middle on rookie ball.

He, and others, like playing against the CPU. Neither way is wrong. It's all preference.

What's "competitive" about crying over every aspect of online? I guess sitting in a freeze off for 2 days would be considered "competitive" but I'll play my game, thanks lol You are talking about the 1 percent of the community that actually knows this forum exists. On top of that you will never hear about the people that actually enjoy this game because they have no reason to complain. Also, no where in your ridiculous rant did you answer my question.

I cant help but wonder how many times you ran head first into a brick wall before posting today. No one can be this stupid on purpose.

Its not just the forums though. Its Twitter comment sections, Reddit threads, multiple Facebook groups. Im sure its not just the same handful of people posting in each one and i just happen to catch them. As far as the second part of your ridiculous rant, between people using Kontrol Freeks and Cronus, am i REALLY afraid of the challenge....or is those jerk0ffs that need every single edge they can get to boost their ego along with their imaginary batting average? Its one of the reasons ive gravitated towards single player games the past few years and away from the CODs and the 2Ks. Too many people need that ego boost to make themselves feel better. I don't. Im perfectly content playing single player games without messages from some douche mad that i bunted or the PCI placement on my 2 run walkoff HR doesnt meet their standards. Get bent. What the hell is your problem man. AGAIN, WHY DO PEOPLE WANT TO PLAY THIS GAME OFFLINE?! That's all I want to know. I don't give a squat about twitter or this other BS that you choose to read then spend your time complaining about. I want to know to see if there is anything I am missing playing exclusively online. That's all, its not neuroscience.

BECAUSE ITS MY GAME AND I CAN PLAY WHATEVER AND HOWEVER I WANT.
Not sure why the most basic concept is so hard for you to understand. Again, go back to my previous comments. You're missing the opportunity to play a full 3 or 9 inning game without lag, rage quitters, R2 spammers, bunt cheese, messages from someone who wasn't hugged enough as a child, freeze offs...the ability to pause whenever you want without a time limit. Why is it so important for you to know why people play offline? I dont think any of us give 3 squirts in a bucket about you playing only online so why the "need to know"?
