How can this game be this [censored] bad?
1st RS game today. Score 4 runs off Mussina in the bottom of 2nd. Top 3rd here comes the bs hits for 1 run. Bottom of 3rd almost dead center pci with Banks against a RH for a routine fly ball to center. Top of 4th, broken bat infield single of course followed by a HR. Up 4-3, freeze in bottom of 4th. Of course this person won't quit. Do they ever? Inching toward more pubg the more and more I play this pathetic game. Don't even need to get into the foul balls, dives, disconnects.
Hasn't SDS been doing this for 15+ years? How is this not a better product by now?

It will be too costly of a risk for SDS to put in safe guards to prevent people doing this. SDS most likely feels it will maybe cut down more then half of the people that play Ranked or even DD over all. So they really don't care how people win games. If by hook or crook. If by exploits & cheesing. As long as the severs are having X amount of people logging in to play, That is all that really matters to them. But from my own personal exp's in Ranked, I only see that mostly within ST, RS & AS. It starts lowering more when getting into PR & WC because level of players within those rankings actually play the game & play it to win on properly earned merits. That goes even more so within PS & WS.

Demise… I quit RS (and chasing achievements). I just play for the fun of it like when a lot of us popped in RBI Baseball or Bases Loaded and partied hard with RNG. Might be time to just go offline or play against people you know.

Just played a guy who confirmed what I knew. He was on the east coast and had collections done. Everything he hit was a base hit. Guy had 6 good timing swings in 3 innings and got hits on all plus hits on 10-11 pci. I square up a ball with banks with good timing against a LH pitcher, yep, routine fly ball. Must be a fun game on the east coast. Again, why am I matching against some [censored] with dormitory internet over 1,000 miles away. Can you not find anyone in my region playing this?
I really don't mind losing but you have no chance. It is just idiotic to match people like that.

Doesn't have to be perfect but who thinks matching players so far away is fair or level? For people that need to be smart enough to make a game, they are ignorant when it comes to online gaming.

Lol, last thing I knew was the internet sucked in the midwest, not the east coast. I am on the east coast and I never have lag festivals unless I play people that according to their name could be located in St. Louis, Kansas, Michigan.
I agree with you, we shouldn’t be matching up against each other, I’d rather wait a little bit longer and get a good game against somehody in my region.

I think the game is in a very bad state if he’s not even bringing up connection issues. I agree with him. No gameplay updates yet? Must be a huge issue trying to fix it.

I had my first freeze off of the year a week or so ago. I don't play a ton of RS, I'm 11-6 so not very good but I like the challenge of playing a real person. The freeze-off happened in the top of the first, I hit a chopper to first and it locked up. My opponent wasn't going to quit, I waited about 3 minutes and just restarted the game. The win isn't that important to me.
It would be nice to play a full game though. Of the 17 I've played only 5 have been full games, because I lost each one but stuck around til the end. Now I'm back on mini-seasons for awhile.
