Playstation players who go directional when they are in trouble are they trash?
-
I say yes
-
Directional is garbage , doesn't give an advantage I prefer people to use directional
-
Yeah I would love to play a directional player online. I wouldn’t recommend anyone switch to that when in trouble if you use zone regularly.
-
I only use directional on moments like homeruns or total bases because it’s crack against the CPU. Online? Not a chance.

I've never tried it, nor can I tell if someone else is using it against me. I'm curios, is it supposed to be easier? Based on the comments here it sounds like a myth that it actually works.
-
Funny that you’d assume on PS players do this. I’d be willing to bet you wouldn’t notice a difference between the two interfaces
-
I don't use directional myself, but I honestly don't care what my opponent uses. If I'm truly the better player, then I'll win the vast majority of the time regardless of what interface they choose to use.
-
Switching to directional takes away any advantage I could have using Zone, so no.
-
I don’t get directional. No seriously, I don’t even get it. I’ve tried it a couple times in Moments just because some posters make it seem like a cheat and I just don’t get it. Give me zone all day.

Because its not. People over exaggerate its usefulness.
-
I mostly use directional online and zone is far superior if you're good with it.
-
People just blame directional. It’s a severe disadvantage to use it but honestly if you think directional is why you lost or allowed a comeback, you’re the one who’s trash.
-
People have used directional for years as an excuse for them losing a game.
-
Someone PLEASE tell me how to tell when someone is using directional. I've played this game since it's inception but many XBOX players seem to already know more about the intricacies of this game than I do?
-
your opponent is on directional if their pci is always in the middle. But even before PCI feedback, you could tell by their incessant foul balls. If they were that good at getting the PCI on the ball, how come they never hit it fair? Directional is why.
Directional does have one very useful purpose - to wreck knuckleballers.
-
Directional is so bad now, that even BigTomK22 scrapped it and uses zone, he used to make WS every season with directional.
-
If directional helps, then so be it.
-
I don't understand this whole "trash" thing. There was a thread the other week if you use Degrom or Cabrera you were trash. Now if you use directional you are trash. That is just ridiculous. People are going to use what they enjoy. It's a game, go have fun. I use zone, never even tried directional. Maybe I should, maybe it would be more fun.
-
Back in like 2015 when they didn’t have outer pci and foul tips people would switch to directional and bunt all the time.
-
If you have ever tried directional in online play you would realize it is actually at a disadvantage. Directional is total RNG and if you are dotting corners a directional hitter will never make good contact. Now if you hang one down the middle the RNG will favor directional but if you throw one down the middle vs zone it is getting crushed also.
