He hit a nuke on his first swing, then in the next inning he promptly overran an easy pop foul (even though he was firmly in the blue).

So it’s exactly how I remember 1993 and 1994. Thank you, SDS.

SDS did a great job, Mickey Mantle is exactly how I remember him in 1958

I remember watching Honus….it was black and white in the stadium too.

Did he pop a Nugenix in the on deck circle? 🤪

Only used him in showdown so far. Laces doubles to the gap for me. I'm sure once I get used to his height those become moon shots.

He wouldve been my first AL Cen pick, but I have too many solid RH power hitters so I took Feller. He'll be my second, fan of his for a few years in this game

I've been waiting for his card to drop. I'm glad he is 100% the best 1B that will be in the game.

We will see. Vlad Jr and Ortiz are still clutch.

Ah yes, nothing like listening to the game on the radio while I sat on the floor drinking my warm ovaltine. Those were the days.

I'm sure he's a great hitter. Defense and arm? I hope he's not in a hurry to turn a double play. The man's defense and arm are awful, Have you even used him yet?

I have, and defense and arm are the last thing I look for in a 1B.

True but it helps. Also his swing is pretty long and slow,

Big Frank Thomas fan. One of my fav players when he played ball. But in the game I always nver liked his cards. The swing is the problem for me. It seems like it takes longer than other players. But when you do hit the ball, the results are good. But he's always been very difficult for me to use, his 99 cards from the previous years.

But his gold A's card I always had more success with than his Diamonds in past years.

Well hoping this years version is better.

Have been using Big Frank in Showdown and he absolutely rakes. Gonna be a hard decision b/w him and Vlad Jr.
