And bunting too…no real professional baseball players bunt.
And it’s actually illegal in college baseball….and I know because I played!!!
Hitting HRs against me at shippet….I chose that stadium for me to hit dingers, not you!!
Stop yelling at us!!!
I’m sure I go against the grain here, but I think anyone who quits should get a loss.

@theu715 said in Majority of The Show's Hitting Approach:
No, the worst is actually when you get up 2 strikes. Dot your pitch on the black 3 times and get check swings that obviously fooled your opponent and they're all called balls. Then they foul off a couple until they draw a walk or get a blooper and then hit a HR with the next batter on a pitch away that they pull for a no doubt HR. Follow it up the next inning when you're hitting and get a perfect/perfect fly out to the warning track with Soto or Griffey.
Stop reading my game history!!!

Yeah!! Let’s ban anyone that has done anything anyone may ever disagree with ever!!

I got a big promotion at work Friday and won't have the time to play this, or any game, for the next 12-15 mos. Since I won't be using my console; I'm going to give it to my nephew. However, I need to factory reset. That I know how to do. What I need help with is if there is anyway to delete my TSN account; since I won't be using it anymore. Other than making a new email and changing it that way; is there any other way that it can just be deleted from the website?

I think the easiest answer is to just decline the promotion. Money isn’t everything, play for the love of the game.
@savefarris_psn said in Will we need to do FOTF/Takashi/Cover Athletes for future collections?:
Probably. The good news is: if you’re willing to play the long game, they’ll be a gaggle of them in future reward paths/conquest maps.
There’s a word you don’t see everyday. Don’t think that you can substitute with similar words and correlate. “There’ll be a murder of them in future reward paths…”

Used him during my last mini season run. He hits bombs!
Probably just a cap on power attribute level. Focus on contact people. Now we’ll see if home runs are still the only way to score!!
For the CPU matchup, most of the responses have this accurate. You have entire LS collection done, best cards in the game, and in conquest you can’t take on the #1 pitcher for 1 inning? Obviously v CPU full 9 that changes, it still not a real reason to not use Randy. I’d use him every chance I had; I’m down to 5 diamonds (ohtani, acuna, burnes, hader, arenado) and once that’s done no CPU team will be safe!
@tonythetiger2k16 said in Who misses Conquest with Player Missions or even misses Conquest Extreme?:
Last time I seen both of those was in 18. Where within Conquest you had to get "X" amount of K's or W's with a pre-determined Pitcher or "X" amount of Hits, Doubles, HR's, R's, RBI's, BB's or SB's with a pre-determined Hitter. Then after you completed the entire Nation of Baseball Map, you earned a Voucher to unlock Conquest Extreme which was the Nation of Baseball Map over again, however with turn based missions which can only be achieved by playing strongholds on All-Star or even HoF due to not having enough fans to attack for it to be on Vet or Rookie. Both of these things added an extra element & challenge that SDS veered away from in these last 4 years by instead giving a variety of different shaped maps & themes. I feel SDS can do both. With the Nation of Baseball Map they can change the Mission Goals on it every month & give different rewards every month. As well make it able to unlock Extreme & that also giving different rewards. This will make the replay of Nation of Baseball Map more appealing & motivating. As of right now the repeatable Show Pack Bundle mission is not enough to grind out that entire map over & over. SDS can still do all the different shaped & theme Maps as they been doing which is great. But would be nice if they added more to the Nation of Baseball Map to make it wanted to be replayed.

For people that enjoy conquest + the US map specifically, further mission/rewards wouldn’t really incentivize them further. It’s really only a “nice to have” for a specific group. With the regular addition of new conquest maps that satisfies the function of new missions + rewards.
I do the US map purposefully once each year and then popped into games for small/quick stats as needed. Mini seasons has definitely replaced the US + conquest maps for me; similar play time and better rewards in seasons, plus CPU lineup diversity makes it much better offline mode.

Believe in years prior they have added missions to programs like this, so may be an opportunity down the road.
Their approach is allowing everyone to earn every card, so wouldn’t expect them to limit it to this single pathway.

It’s like clock work in this game. I know this is the event but it shouldn’t matter what game mode it is, if you don’t touch the ball with the pci you shouldn’t even make contact. Counter argument: this is a forced result due to spamming of pitches. Believe SDS was also trying to combat the spamming of pitches (given the high sinker debacle, though that also is not itself remedied….even cpu burns me on them!) so while you may have the good control, etc, throwing the same pitch multiple times in a row, and certainly in the same spot, would lead to widening of target zone and eventual missed pitch spot. Now, I’m not taking away from the standalone foul tip argument (curve literally bouncing that you’re early on and still get a piece of….), but specifically as it relates to spamming of pitches. With all due respect, I think that’s a load of BS If my opponent can’t hit a certain pitch in a certain location, why would you not attack that location with said pitch? That’s literally pitching Why would I throw another pitch in another location knowing my opponent struggles with a different pitch and location combination No way should we be penalized with a loss of control because my opponent keeps swinging away at a certain pitch I do recall SDS mentioning a loss of control for throwing successive secondary pitches over and over and that’s catering to casuals at its finest

I think there’s a difference between spamming a pitch and targeting an opponents weakness (which is obviously part of the game). Same pitch, same spot, multiple times in a row for a single at bat, for most/every batter (last years high sinker!): spamming. Using the slow + low inside slider as a punch out pitch across multiple batters: targeting weakness.
