Have Gold Breakout Alomar or PS Altuve manning 2nd base? And why?
Either one is a place holder until I get SS Alomar. (Or SS Morgan, if I don't want to spend the stubs on Alomar.)

Morgan is my go to guy, but before I had him, I started LS Whit Merrifield.
Between the choice you suggest, I’d probably pick Altuve. That Alomar was never was good for me.

All Star Zobrist from the TB Affinity program is your best inexpensive option until you can get Alomar or Morgan. After that you can move him to the bench or play him anywhere except catcher or pitcher. Hell, even the silver LS Zobrist (CHC) is better than that gold Alomar card. Gold Neil Walker (25 Points in the Pittsburgh Affinity) is also a quality temp option for 2B.

Uh .. if you're worried about spending stubs for Alomar (which you shouldn't, but that's a whole other topic), you do know that you get a 3rd Inning choice pack at 1350 stars in the 11th inning. Which means you can get Alomar for free.

Depends. Do you get the lady's seat or do you get the toddler's juice box; if he/she has one?

Depends. Do you get the lady's seat or do you get the toddler's juice box; if he/she has one?
Neither, but you sleep better at night knowing you can physically dominate a toddler or an old lady.

@Some_Schmuck_22 is right on when he recommend Rays TA Zobrist. switch hitter, decent d, and shocking power, especially from the LH side. He can be super utility once you get SS Alomar as well.
