I play this game a lot. In fact it’s the only video game I play these days. I enjoy Grinding and grinding away because I like all the challenges and building up my team, prestige game cards, etc. but every now and then I get bored and want a different challenge. With the way stubs are in the game the last couple of months I decided to try something when they dropped that free bundle with the 5th inning choice pack the other night.

I started a brand new account. I got the free bundle pack from the shop. I took Mo and pulled the rare(cheaper) round in the Finest pack and took Acuña. I sold them both and started flipping 5th round bosses like a BOSS. In the past 72 hours, the only gameplay I did on the account was 2 Team affinity conquest maps(BAL/BOS), 1 RIB Showdown(took Baez)and some Moments. I am currently sitting at 2.2 million stubs, I exchanged my way up to the Finest player in TA4 for BAL, BOS and WAS. I have already put together a very competitive squad(not as fully loaded as my main account obviously, but not bad).

My goal right now is to get the team loaded up with players from the East and then attack the East event when it starts up. Pretty nuts how easily you can get stubs right now. I can keep doing buy orders and complete the Mantle collection already.

Can’t wait to be the Bronze 35 player with a full goon squad messing people up in the event lol. 😂

So yea anyone hurting for stubs go flip some MO, Larry and Papi’s and you should be good.

For your method of flipping, do you stay in the market (and upbid, etc) or do you do something else and then come back?

Who's on the new squad so far?

For conquest I’m using a lot of the Monthly awards guys to complete some missions(towards Tatis, Mondesi and JRam). So I’ve unlocked some of those.

    C-99 d’Arnaud
    1B- 99 Ortiz
    2B- 99 Lux
    3B- 94 Chipper
    SS- 99 Bogaerts
    LF- 99 Soto
    CF- 96 Ellsbury
    RF- 99 Walker

    99 Santander, 99 Acuña 97 Baez, 96 Alfaro, 96 Miller

Like I said also have a handful of the MA cards, Topps Now, etc.

Pitching is much weaker. Have some cheaper non- TA 4 SP Finest(99Cole, 97 Ryu, 97 Gonzales). Pulled 98 Lazardo in a TA pack. Have a few MA and Topps Now guys. Have Mo, LS Chapman, Rodney and some MA and Topps now pen arms.

I’m mostly trying to load up guys I can use in the East event. It will be fun using Chipper and Ellsbury again as I loved using those guys earlier in the year.

Goal now is to grind out the DeGrom and Freeman Finest so I’ll have them for the event. I love Freeman’s card, but I really want to give Ortiz a shot in the event since I really didn’t give him much of a chance this year with all the other 1B choices.

Both. If the market is hot and cards are moving fast I stick around and make moves if I have time. Other times I’ll put in some buy/sell orders and go do something else and check it later and do the same. So many people have been getting this card free and selling it immediately and so
Many others have probably been buying the ones they didn’t have since they are so cheap. They have moved very fast the past few days with good margins(typically made between 5-8k per flip depending on the time of day and what was happening.

That Mondesi is the best card in the game, you'll love him.

Buying a guy at the sell now price and selling him at the buy now price. You lose 10% of the sell price, so just make sure the spread is big enough to cover that. So if you can buy Larry Walker for 16k and sell him at 24k, you profit 8k minus 2400...(you profit 5600)

Flipping is very profitable right now because so many people arent playing anymore and most of the ones playing arent trying to get more stubs. Gaps are huge in the market. First 6 Months of the game this was not the situation.

It def slowed a lot from the initial release of the pack, but I also haven’t been trying to flip as much and started focusing more on grinding/team build.

Why MO, Larry and papi Specifically? Are they in the better price range for flipping ? Turning 17k into 25k worth it? And keep doing the same 3 players? I was like accumulating stubs then going for higher price gaps like Bauer or Wagner
