Great post highlighting the vast years of experience all these future stars bring to the table.
I for one am glad we have such a diverse lineup of diamond players to use instead of low diamond bums like Blake Snell or Javy Baez.
Next up I would like to see a crossover series with stars like Master Chief, Yoshi and Samus.

These Future stars cards got me messed up. Like I get they are juiced but Gavin was done dirty 90 overall for the number 2 prospect in the top 100 is kinda insulting, if we had a greater sample size and he didn't live up to the hype I'd understand but he saw less than 80 ABs and did great respectively but only getting a 90 overall where as guys not even in the top 100 get 92+ cards is insulting to the player

Gavin’s card is a Prospect card, not a Future Stars card. He got a 90 as the #2 prospect and the only one with a better rated diamond prospect card was Wander Franco (a 91) and he is the #1 rated prospect.
Dogger fans.
Hold your water, man. He’ll get his bomb Future Stars card.

Update:
Brewers: Zack Brown, the team's No. 14 prospect (!!!) and, of course, not top-100.
Royals: I think say something that said Brady Singer. If so, he's the team's No. 2 and 59th overall.

Guy almost hit .400 in the minors last year but ya nick mardigal is going to be 5 ovr better? Makes sense. I love the content from sds and i like having the young guys have good cards but the picks of players and ovr of the players is just puzzling to me.

Franco should have been the highest any prospect got this year. Even if Mardigal is a future star card and not prospect card just makes no sense to me to get a 95, just screws it all up imo, his maxed out potential should be below 90, guys like vladdy, franco and lux should be maxed out at 95 and they are some best prospects to come out in years

What’s really funny is the speed rating (39) for Tony Kemp. And when they talk about him in game, he is referred to as a “speedster” or something to that effect. Much like Dahl’s intro.
The audio is probably from year's past. But his 39 rating actually makes sense when compared to his actual sprint speed. He was well below average in sprint speed last year according to MLB's own, baseball savant.

Live Series players get absolutely no respect in this game and it drives me crazy.
Mike Trout is one of the best players to ever play the game, and they are constantly releasing cards that have higher overalls than him. Only true top tier legends should have better cards than Trout (Mays, Mantle, etc.) This is a huge problem with other players as well... tons of B-tier legends getting better cards than Yeli, Bellinger, DeGrom, etc.
Was really hoping they would tone down the Signature Series (Immortals) cards this year and this would get better, but it’s clear now that it’s only gonna get worse... there’s gonna be tons of prospects who will eventually become league-average players who will have better cards than Mike Trout. Make it stop!

Umm, live series players are the only players you can use in Franchise mode. That's a big badge of honor right there. I bet if you asked Reggie Jackson if he would rather be in Franchise mode or DD, he would choose Franchise mode every single time.

You’re right, my rant should be in the Diamond Dynasty forum... but since this post was in the General Discussion I just responded here

95 should be the highest any card in this game goes other then immortals, the true super stars like mantle, ruth, aaron, clemente.
Any other legend cards should be capped out at 95. 90 should be cap for most live series with the exception for trout who is a currently playing legend.
If the season gets going and guys have huge years like belli last year then he should be able to pass the 90 threshold based on updates but not right off the top of the year.
I feel if they spaced out the overalls a bit it would be more rewarding to get the very top tier cards instead of having so many prospects and good players from the past muddy it up. I love all the content and players, i love collecting the cards but i just want the overalls to make more sense, in no version of the world would anyone ever say kevin smith is going to be better the vlad jr but his card is 5 overall higher? Madrigal is going to be better then robby alomar jr? Just doesnt make alot of sense to me but its a made of fantasy land anyways so the rules are made up and the points dont matter lol -
All of these are laughable when put in perspective that Wander Franco is a 91 overall card and considered to be a better prospect than Vlad Jr was last year from a well rounded perspective.
-
Dodgers Gaterol cards looks crazy good, but he is projected to be a reliever and possible future closer!! To make these even more fake they made him a future starter, stop this SDS. Do some more research first.

Who considers him a better prospect than Vlad was?
Vlad was the first and only 80 grade hit tool ever scouted.
Edit: sorry, I read the last part and realized you put in from a well rounded perspective. My bad... Lol carry on

Well, because he is still a starter.. he won't become a reliever until he fails..
-
I think it is extremely generous for SDS to release their advanced knowledge of these player's future careers, thereby allowing them to have the knowledge of what lies ahead in their futures.
Sure, they may find it a little less exciting to know they will be superstars, but I'm sure the security of knowing they are HOF bound (or at least bound for $200 million MLB contracts) more than makes up for it.
-
i'm super down with the Madrigal card because he played at that rating last year lol

Total garbage
