Yeah! Perfect Per... oh, I'm out...

I’m going to guess that nobody is batting 2.000 on anything.
-
Last game I hit a P/P line out with my CAP with 100 power and was kind of "seriously?"
-
I try to avoid pp hits.

Me to and I do a great job of it
-
I hit a perfect/ perfect with a 101 velo of Kluber. I got all excited and it died before the warning track..
-
When the game first came out, 90% of P/P were hits and lately its been about maybe 50% - 60% of P/P going for hits
-
If I remember right, those statistics were from the Beta.
-
It's kind of like real baseball.
-
I went 0-3 last night on a game on perfect perfect with my cap. Well over a 100 power with everything and two line drives to the 2nd basemen and a warning track shor

All of these people complaining about P/P hit balls that end up as outs must have never played a game of baseball before. [censored] happens in baseball and all of your hard hit balls don't end up over the fence or land for a hit.,
-
To clarify, a PERFECT flyball with a player with even average power should NEVER have NEGATIVE exit velocity
A PERFECTLY hit flyball by ANY MLB PLAYER with average power should leave any yard to any field (Except maybe Polo Grounds) ,but a player like Stanton is probably hitting a perfectly squared ball beyond that wall as well in real life.
A PEEFECTLY hit ball by a player with the power of Eloy Jimenez should not be a wall scraper, even to center, in any ballpark besides Polo Ground. And it [censored] sure shouldn't be playable by anyone other than a fan rows back. The exity velocity should NOT be a mere 97 mph.
This is wrong. Period. And utterly ridiculous.
They need to checkout the Statcast information on barreled balls by all types of hitters. Even the light weights are smoking a perfectly squared fastball 100 mph +

I heard a big The Show 20 streamer and YT content creator cite a statistic that was allegedly from SDS. That players were getting Perfect Perfects 5.7% of the time for an overall .822 BA. I'd like to know how many of you have 2.000 batting averages on PP hits. Cause I am definitely bringing the average down. And I mean WAY down. Most of my PP hits result in an out. Anyone else having this issue?
The power thresh hold for a perfect perfect fly ball to be a home run more often than not is 80. Pending on the hitter, your perfect perfects will be outs more than hits with certain players. For instance, Tony Gwynn isnt hitting a home run to center on a perfect perfect fly ball, but a perfect perfect line drive for him is a base hit

And they also ignore all the times their perfect/perfect goes for hits.
Sure I have some perfect/perfect go for outs but I have a whole lot more go for hits.
-
Good / Okay - Center of the PCI with 83 mph exit velo. How is it supposed to be placed better?

I'm curious how you rationalize this thought process when mlb players on their streams complain about it as well...
Any take?

Who wouldn't complain when they leave a ball that goes for an out? The difference is understanding it happens and moving on to the next one.

give it a rest people this is not 2k this will never be 2k the best hitters ever in the game hit in the .300 why do u think your so special that u should be batting .700 because u made perfect contact just because u can shot 85% from 2 inches in front of mid court on a turnaround fade away with some no name pink diamond because u hit some stupid line in a meter dose not mean mike trout is going to hit a home run every time u make contact
2k's green shots have ruined all sports game and should be removed

It's one thing to be upset about a very hard hit ball being caught for an out. It's another to complain that it "should" have been a hit. Why should it have been a hit? Unless it's over the fence, you have no control over what happens to that well hit ball. That's why they have a defense. More times than not, those hard hit balls are most likely going to result in hits but acting like it's a given and you were somehow robbed by the video game is silly.

The whole “it happens in baseball” argument is a poor excuse. This is a video game randomizing your input.
