Drugs and Alcohol...?

That's an entirely different thing. If you're not part of the solution, you're part of the problem.
Yes, and my kids saw a girl getting effed in the [censored]. Were you trying to make a point?
Sometimes, very sadly, you have to hit people upside their heads with a proverbial four-by-four to get their attention! You shouldn't have needed to say that, but the reality is you did! Now, let these sadists try to squirm their way out of that one! An E-rated video game featuring such a lewd act!
Wake up, SDS! You're cruising for a bruising in a court of law if you don't get this under control, and many people have already provided you with the roadmap for how to do so!

@PriorFir4383355_XBL Yea I saw Boobies in the vault. Im adding... When you give people control of what can be uploaded into a game, there should be some sort of screener look at it before it gets added to the vault. However, I don't think SDS wants to hire a schmo to do that. They should be focused on making sure the basic mechanics of the game works before policing non sense complaints/vault uploads all day.

There's an awful lot of assumptions going on here. An algorithm can be created to filter these out, along with the duplicates. They added a disclaimer for when people upload. I've spoken to people whom have no idea that they've uploaded something. They just tap this button and that button to download, not realizing they've uploaded it multiple times, and that's because the connections between platforms just suck.
San Diego Studios can be held accountable for this, and those I've spoken with do take this seriously, but it's getting through to the higher ups that's a pain, in my experience. Let's hope it doesn't come back to bite them in the [censored]!

Why are drugs and alcohol-related logos allowed in the Logo Vault?
This IS an E-rated game, is it not?
Not cool.
Report those

I have been, for years. But seriously, what's up with this "ZYN" [censored]!? Does everyone have a nicotine addiction now? lol
-
@Rubbaneck34_XBL funny thing is, the auto censor won't let you upload created players with the name D I C K or the last name C O X. It will say that the players' name contains inappropriate language. Yet, they still can't seem to figure out, or don't think it's a priority, to screen what truly is inappropriate.
You guys ever going to get on that @SDS_JoeK_PSN ? You've commented that you think it needs to be fixed, too? But, I'm guessing they (the developers) don't care what you think, either. Until you guys get sued .

As I've said, the team does everything they can to to remove offensive content from the vault, but volume makes it a challenge, as I'm sure you can imagine.
That volume can make it seem like nothing is being done, but I assure you, that's not the case.

How many accounts have you banned for putting vulgar content in the vault? Moreover, what methods are you using to ensure those bans are not bypassed?
-
@PriorFir4383355_XBL never gonna tell us. If they were actually doing it they'd give us details.
I've never seen a company lack so much accountability to its paid customers. Coca-Cola realized real quick when they screwed up with New Coke in the '80s.

They could release the number of accounts banned if they wanted to, but methods... absolutely not, the second they did that people would know what the defenses were and would start creating workarounds

Agree. Both are not healthy and it should not be handled in any good way.
But I also do not get, why betting is so „okay“, but that is another story. Gambling in general is bad because it ruins people‘s lifes more often than not.

Not if they do it the way I believe they can do it -- using the console's serial number and/or web ID number. Neither of those can be modified as they are hard coded into the console. The only way to get around that method would be for the person who was banned to purchase a new console. How many people do you think would be willing to plunk down that kind of money just to post vulgar images on an SDS online vault?

There's little to no excuse for the state of the logo vault. The volume of new uploads is not high at this point in the year. Every so often I scroll through a few recent pages and flag the worst offenders. It doesn't take more than a few minutes to scan through several hours of worth of new uploads and flag a few.
Curiously, I will sometimes flag a logo and get "Sorry, the requested player was not found." If the logo is connected to the user, and the user being gone means the logo cannot be reported, why is the logo still there?
Given the abysmal performance of the vaults is it seems highly likely that this is intern-level spaghetti code on the backend. It seems like the most likely explanation for the state of affairs is that there is a skeleton crew of an engineering team working on this game now. It would be a trivial programming exercise to block new uploads of the same logo after it has been reviewed and removed once. It would be slightly more complicated to detect similar-but-inexact uploads, but at this point I'm still flagging the same tits-out Hawk Tuah logo every day, so uploaders don't need to be remotely clever yet.
If there's no engineering budget to do anything about this, then punish the content team for a few hours a week to go manually remove some of this garbage. If anyone was putting in 15 minutes a day there wouldn't be a titty logo uploaded July 1st that is still currently available. Suggesting that there's too much volume for inappropriate logos to be removed within multiple days of being flagged is laughable.
At this point, after so many years of inaction, the ESRB should replace your E rating with an AO based on the logo vault. I bet things would actually get addressed quickly if that were a possibility. This is not a hard problem to solve. If you don't want to solve it then delete the logo vault and spare us having to look at ZYN ads directed at children.

@YOSHI24_XBL I have an ex-girlfriend who goes out with her entire family, several times a year, and they drop between $3000-$9000 each at casino's. It's a FAMILY event. She said she doesn't have a gambling problem, but she hid it from me... I only knew when I asked her what she and her family did, one night.
As far as the former goes, I just think they could make it much better if these things are bagged and tagged immediately. Remember the Wii U? When something vulgar popped up, it was taken down immediately. This didn't happen in the first week or so, but it didn't take long. You'll see a "HAWK TUAH" logo show up, and it's got 55 dl in the first hour it was there, and then MORE people upload it.
This is a part of the game that absolutely NEEDS to be remedied.

@yankblan_PSN I've know that this whole time, but that's not an excuse.

I adore this game, I love the sport itself and the history.
I don't think we need to come down hard on anyone; this can be fixed, so the big picture takes precedent. I'm tired of addressing it, so I've been reaching out in as many ways as possible.
