Better servers will not serve that amount of game copies than integrating something like Negro League, Jeter, etc do. … You gotta respect, that SDS has to earn money and grow…. that does not mean, that better servers is a bad wish.

If I had to choose between 1) Jeter/NegroLeague OR 2) better servers, then it is clearly 1

maybe you should stop calling cards based on career stats or even years. That is not the case in the game at all right now

E.g.

• Elvis Andrus got a 99 (wtf)
• We have no-hitter-cards, so the stats are based on 1 game
• JDs Card this year is based on a 4 HR-game (he is a good hitter, do not get me wrong, but that?!?)
• Look at Ozzie Smith‘s 99 and power vs LHP
• …

Conclusion:
They can do everything they want to make 1 single card (really) good. Jeter could have a 1999 card (where he was extremely awesome with a .989 OPS) with gold fielding and that could be okay. Maybe do not base it on reputation, career stats or something else. These comparisons imo only make arguments that lead to nothing.
BUT: Mays should have an awesome 23 card, for sure

I do not think so.
First is for solo ranked
Second is for coop-ranked
Third is for programm rewards (e.g. „Innings“)

You are right, LS golds are not capped at 5K. I checked that with Mullins, who was a high and hyped gold at launch. In the first 2 days he ranged between 5-7K, after that always lower than 5K. So it is possible to pull high golds that go awesome, but it is in the early access phase.
Back to „Is it smart to buy packs?“. Imo:

• If you want excitement, than buying packs is a good thing in the early release days
• From an investment standpoint it is the same as playing lottery. In the long run, most of people are losing money(stubs)

I was new to the game last year and if you compare the early weeks, it is really awesome, that you see lots of different lineups/pitchers.

I also like the collection rewards (which I‘ll have by June … maybe :)), because they are also not that owerpowered.

Last, but not least … the live-series-players are way longer relevant. Right now, I play Vladdy, Judge and Bryce in my lineup and I got to 600K XP 2 weeks ago.

LS is Jeter
AL is McGwire
NL is Sosa

Because the Cards shown in the video were CORE and Core are either LS or Collections. They would not show Collections rewards that far in advance, if it weren‘t the LS Collections.

If these are Ranked or BR Rewards thata going to tick alot of people off.

1. They're Set 1 cards which means they'll only be good for part of the year (unless you use your Wild Card spot).

2. With 99s out of the gate; they're going to make it close to impossible for offline players to obtain them. Yes, you may be able to get them if they still do the Innings part; but most offline players just buy the cards. And if these are 99s right off the bat; unless people flip like crazy or buy stubs, they'll be unobtainable to offline players. Youre telling me that someone is going to list one for less than 1M stubs?

Also, does this mean that all cards, except for LS cards, will be Set relelated?

And what happens after Set 3 is over; can you use any card available?

They may have potentially released two cards that at least half of their fan base can never acquire/use.

I hope, they are BR or RS rewards, because it should be hard to get such good cards from the get go. Or you should have to grind 30 hours … If you just „throw out“ such cards, then balancing will be an issue (I still hope, that the WBC Trea Card is not a Phillies card)
