@CarlosLBJ23_PSN honestly 9 home runs and 30 RBI’s should put him in line to get one. Hopefully. I think we’d all love a 99 Marte or at least close to it.

Ohtani and Acuna both had good months too. Crazy take but I don’t want another Ohtani. I’d prefer Marte or Acuna

I’d bank on Marte over Acuna. Acuna will get an AS or HRD in a couple weeks, which would immediately make the lightening insignificant.

There are a couple of players that I feel are in the mix - Suarez, Marte, Raleigh, Greene, Adell, and Buxton all can be argued for at this point. Top players like Judge, Ohtani, Acuna usually don’t get lightening cards because they’ve either already had a decent version of them in the game or one is coming fairly soon.

If I were a betting man, I’d wager on Marte or Buxton.

@SavageSteve74_PSN Buxton recently got a collection card and Marte is an All-Star. Being a fan-favourite, I totally see him getting some all-star-collection card … So I doubt, both will be considered in the June spotlight

    @YOSHI24_XBL

Fair points, honestly forgot about moonshot Buxton because while I have him, never really used that card. Suarez would probably be next on the list, but he’s another one with a decent card already out (flashback in Santana collection). Greene and Adell could be an intriguing options.

    Soto seems a reasonable option
-11 HR, .474 OBP is obviously worthy
-Hes actually not guaranteed an All Star spot at this point (but its very likely), but with Lindor and Diaz around they can skip his all star card if he does make it
-He hasnt been given a good card yet

Acuna Will Probably get a HRD card
Marte will probably get a AS card (As much as I like Tommy Edman I can't see him winning)

If they are smart they wait and decide after the all star Voting since several contenders are still in the voting.

Yandy Diaz had the highest batting average and was tied with Acuna and Marte in WAR and was second in wRC+. He also only has his silver live card so far.

Eugenio Suarez already had an April spotlight card and I am not sure if they would double up already if at all.

Tyler Freeman had the second highest BA in June and Colorado could desperately use a card.

Remember, in the years before sets and seasons it was extremely rare for the huge names to get a lightning cards as they are all pretty much guaranteed a a high level card later in the season. I would guess that is the case again as we inch our way into the high 90's in overalls. Soto will eventually get a 99 regardless of the outcome of the All Star voting.

No one wants to do a program for Pages when Soto could be the choice 🙂

I’d complete a program for Pages but yeah, Acuña would be a preference for a lot of people :).

Guys like Judge and Shohei actually got some love in the POTM programs, but that was in 2023 when 99 overalls ran rampant which probably explains why they were okay with dropping such huge names for free early on in the game cycle.

Don't see that being the case this year with Sets & Seasons no longer a thing.

    hmmm...June OPS leaders

    Soto
    Muncy
    Hunter Goodman
    Elly
    Yandy Diaz
    Carroll
    Buxton
    Raleigh
    Suarez
    Adell

All of these guys have been given good cards already besides Soto, Diaz, and Muncy

Muncy might be the most likely if they dont give it to a big name player

Can they give him a boost specifically when facing Padres pitching? 😃

I didn't know Ketel was doing so well.

All I know is that his LS Card is obscene, and should be as expensive as Judge & Ohtani. He's my clear MVP. I've been on a Conquest map run, to farm inning 5 early XP, and he's been wrecking games!, plus after that fan incident, he would be a feel-good choice.
