Cincinnati Reds the Show 25

We get an entire program for Scott Rolen and a bunch of Reds players/missions. Then we get the Cover Athlete Elly De La Cruz program. How much did the Reds pay San Diego Studios for this content? Way too specific. I get the Cover Athlete program but an entire program dedicated to one team? Very strange. Anyone else bothered by the programs this year?
-
They did the exact same thing a few years ago with Roy Halladay when he debuted in the game. Not sure why anybody would be bothered by it. Just a way to add a little more content on top of dropping a pretty prominent Legend.
As for the Elly program, he just happens to be one of the cover athletes this year and they will surely be doing the same thing with Gunnar and Skenes over the next few weeks.

People complain just to hear themselves complain. They want to be mad at something and will come up with anything and will give tenuous reasons for their whining. There is nothing that will satisfy these type of people.

That Skenes card will be CRACKED

You're right. We should have programs dedicated to the Rockies and all the success they've had.
-
I dont have a problem with Rolen but I only remember him as a Phil and Cards guy. They could have put the Reds players in the Elly program and given us Cardinals since his collection card is Phillies.

I assume we will see a mid to high 90s Cardinals version of Rolen later in the year. He played 1 more year in Philly than St Louis. You probably could have flipped a coin to determine if the 99 version was a Phillie or Cardinal but in the end Philly is a bigger market so they probably let that decide it.
-
What have Reds fans had to cheer about for the last few years. The Francona signing? Let them have their day.
-
Pittsburgh and Orioles are next.
It would be cool if they made a weekly program for every team.
-
I just feel like the programs have had far fewer cards for rewards and we have to rely on packs.
-
Cub and Cardinal fans think the world revolves around them. Expect oriole and pirate programs. Still don't see a votto, sabo or Davey conception card. I guess i should complain.
-
@LuvMyXBOX_XBL Weekly program for each team would be amazing.
-
Shat aahp, no we don't haha.

Votto/Sabo need to sign a deal with SDS if they want cards as they are no longer active players
-
No this does not bother me. If this bothered me in life, I’d have my head examined. It’s just a game. Who cares for what team? It’s different players. And no I’m not a Reds fan. I’d hate to see how you react over real-life tragedies.
-
I don’t mind the Reds content. The Yankees did get a big focus last year with the Subway moments
-
I just want the Reds City Connect Unis. And I'm not even a Reds Fans. I just think they look good.

That being said...I wouldn't hate a card or two from that '07 run to the World Series in the "Legends & Flashbacks" set.

Or the glory days of the mid 90s. Big Cat, Walker, Vinny, etc. The Blake Street Bombers were something.
