We just did... I'm going to sit back and watch the comments fly. They are on Twitter for sure.
I can't wait to hit tanks with Mariano and Randy.

You can't have sets and seasons and institute something like this.
SDS agrees to disagree

Thanks for posting this. I was playing Curse of The Golden Idol.
It seems all a bit gimmicky to me but I will say I am happy the Cardinals did not get a relief pitcher version of Mark McGwire.
Angels card appears to be missing. I assume that will be a Trout pitcher card?
It's a little hard to read names in the picture, did they just make Pitchers fielders and fielders pitchers?
-
This is stupid. Holy phuck

Mostly, but Johah Heim moves from C to 3B.

There could have been a clever way to do this, as I pointed out earlier.
This is just dumb.
Although they did do us a favor by calling it the Out of Position series. We can now call them OOPs.
-
I would have been cool if they called it the "multiverse" program...give it a neat little description like "Ever wondered if in a different universe Randy Johnson was a power hitting CF? Or what about Roberto Clemente being the all time strikeout leader? Or Tom Glavine being the career SB leader? Now here's your chance to play out that idea with the Multiverse series."
That at least wouldn't have come across lazy AF

Welp, it has happened. If they can't play their original positions, without losing attribute points.m, these are nothing but collection fodder and the first 6 weeks will be nothing but Core cards.
-
This is an absolute embarrassment. Wow.
-
Sets/seasons + way too small legends roster = dumb **** like this. Sure it's the 3rd card for some of these guys but since it's OOP it doesn't really count, right?
-
@Sarge1387_PSN Not looking forward to this at ALL
-
@Teak2112_MLBTS i just wanted to get through season 2 and then its full football season for me. I thought i might come back from time to time to play season 3, but nope.
-
@Sarge1387_PSN a story behind it, ok this makes way more sense than what they are doing.
-
I guess the only good news of this is they are only 95 cards, so not end game meta type cards so will be phased out fairly quickly but when that's the GOOD news for a new drop you have done something wrong

It make to much sense and is very creative so SDS would have fired anyone who presented that idea
-
@Sarge1387_PSN I don’t hate the out of position idea, but yours is better.
-
The NL TA cards have been posted
-
@Cubsfan217_XBL I think Team Affinity might just be a bad way to do this. Some of them make sense, like Cronenworth as a pitcher because he was a 2 way player at the professional level. Not sure if they are all warranted, so making one for every team might not have been the best idea.

I used to work at school district where teachers were referred to the Office of Professional Standards if you broke a rule and were going to face discipline. So they liked to say that if you make an "oopsy" then you'll be referred to "OOPS."
