It's better then those stupid glamor shot cards from last year but this certainly doesn't fox the core issue with this year's game.

Literally the worst card art ever. Who doesn't want Greg Maddux wearing his glasses and a turtleneck?

@nymets1987_PSN I'm trying to think who it could be... They just did a Milestone Lindor in Chase Pack and then had Alonso for All-Star and HR Derby... if I had to guess I'm thinking it's one of those two guys unless they go with pitching... which opens it up a little more for another deGrom or another former pitcher.

@romeischillin_PSN So far all we've seen are legends, so for the Mets I'd guess Tom Seaver. I think he had a 91 in season one so he's due a 99.
For the Tigers I'll say Al Kaline. Him or Newhouser and Hal just had a card a few weeks ago.

One unheralded bit of niftyness I will give them credit for:
In the bottom right of the cards, you can see "Made in ________" along with their birth country.
That's a small but cool little bit of detail.

Another Matt Holiday wow... I have been grinding all year to complete sets because collecting cards is fun but wow. How many repeat players are we going to get this year? Ridiculous.

I'll take a 99 Matt Holiday Cardinals card if you don't want one for Colorado. His only Cardinal card is an 84. Shoot at this stage his son has more cards than he does.
I understand complaining about repeat cards but that was always going to be the case. We can't pretend that we are surprised by it. I think it is safe to say that almost 100% of the cards we see for the remainder of MLB 24 will be repeats, with the exception of young players being called up for the first time.

Oh, and given the caliber of the AL East picks I expect the cardinals will be either Musial (who only has a single 89 overall card) or McGwire (who does not have a Cardinals card yet but has had 2 A's cards already)
