Another Matt Holiday wow... I have been grinding all year to complete sets because collecting cards is fun but wow. How many repeat players are we going to get this year? Ridiculous.

I'll take a 99 Matt Holiday Cardinals card if you don't want one for Colorado. His only Cardinal card is an 84. Shoot at this stage his son has more cards than he does.
I understand complaining about repeat cards but that was always going to be the case. We can't pretend that we are surprised by it. I think it is safe to say that almost 100% of the cards we see for the remainder of MLB 24 will be repeats, with the exception of young players being called up for the first time.

Declining legends pool + seasons model = repetition. Lots of it.
I think Pena and Longoria are it for the Rays for example.

Caliber of the AL East? You don't like the choices. As a Red Sox fan; I love we're getting a 99 Ortiz. Plus it helps with people that like to use the Captain Glitch with the Ortiz boost.

The opposite actually. They are all solid legend cards so I am expecting a solid legend card for STL which is why I guessed Musial or McGwire. With Gibson, Brock and now Smith released I think those are the best two legends the Cardinals have left.
I guess technically it could be Edmonds but he has already had a 99 Angels card.

I dont understand complaining about repeats for players with multiple teams, or when different phases of their career are recognized.
They actually don't give enough cards for certain players. Rickey Henderson for example. He should get the obvious Yankees and As cards but he was also a very important part of the 1999 mets with an OPS near .900. No reason he shouldnt get a mets card too.
