I think the idea is that you're getting 9 cards, including a 96, 97, and 99. Yes you can get 7 of those elsewhere, I don't know about you but I was not looking forward to doing that conquest map 4 times. Of the 15 packs (as, hrd, draft) I pulled 1 rare and 2 mid. Kept Trea and sold Witt and JRam. This gives me the chance to skip 20 conquest games and saves 100K stubs for Duran. Add those to the Jackson Holliday and Wyatt Langford cards added to S2 collection and, I feel, today was a good cherry after a fun week.
I'm still disappointed in the lack of equipment for RTTS, but RTTS out of DD. I loved the catchers gear and gloves we'd get from the AS conquest. Instead we got 20 bats we'll never equip and 2 socks we'll never see again.

I would have much rather had a Draft Pack, HRD Pack and AS game pack than 2 of the Draft Conquest Maps. Yeah, it's two less runs of the conquest map, but we could've gotten those at our own pace. Having those other packs would have either given us another shot at those Mid/Rare Rounds or at least lowered their prices on the Market.

I love that I grinded 40 games to get 9 unobtainable cards only for them to give 6 of those cards away as a reward a day later. I would imagine that they are going to make unreleased ASG cards event, mini season, BR, and ranked rewards over the next 3 weeks.

The big L is/are those that fly through content, like: "Gobble, gobble. Need players to get 99 Skenes! Gotta hurry!!! I need to be 1/1 or first to P5 him. Hurry & simulate, you dirty hexagons! Pass the salt!"
Lol, I'm glad I just did the map once. Will need to 1 more time, but the game is fun again, so why not? -

I dont understand why SDS is afraid to treat offline players better.
Give them 12 unique cards (compares to the 20+ online gets every month).
And then the next day reverse that and say 'you know what, we will give every one 6 of these'I suspect its because of elitists that feel they deserve better rewards because they play online. Those assholes should never be listened to, but they tend to have loud voices. And The Show has largely treated its offline players like dirt this year. And every time it looks like they may be reversing course they quickly pull back.
There is still a new miniseason coming though, hopefully they treat it like last year and give some sellable cards this time. That way the cards are available to all, in much the same way online cards are available. The miniseason should also hopefully have at least as much exp as the ranked season track does because there is a massive gap there still

I can say I’m not that guy. I still haven’t finished TA 2.1. I just got Clase. I play this game less this year than I ever have, mainly because the content has been lacking.
Again, perhaps the Big L was an exaggeration. The rest of the All Star content has been great.
But it’s like having a great fight card and then the last match is like a 30 second KO. Very anticlimactic

Like that Tyson fight in Atlantic City that he knocked him out in 93 seconds and everyone wanted their money back, 100 million fight and ended in a minute and a half.

Also, do you really think that the online players were not also running the Draft conquest and just resigning themselves to never getting the cards?

I mean you can do it 2 times AND do the program once to get all the cards. If people do not have fun playing the game and the only goal is to get cards, then there is the problem in the first place.
If people did the map 3 times and the problem is the third try, then you have your problem on hand -

If people did the map 3 times and the problem is the third try, then you have your problem on handI don't know if you guys are on the gamer-run Show FB page...but there's a guy there who can consistently P5 players within hours to a day of their release. I would LOVE to have that much free time.

Honestly with how DD is right now, I'd jump ship to college football, however EA unsurprisingly dropped the ball on that game already, so I will just stick with playing mostly franchise when I very quickly complete each of these programs for totally ackluster rewards.

Yeah this guys whole schtick seems to be "give offline only players more and block online players from getting offline rewards". He seems to think that people are either online OR offfline...basically screw the people who are both.

@YOSHI24_XBL its not a big L. the overall game is for content. This content drop has been the best overall for 2024. However, if you look big picture it isnt as great as years past. So we are starved for content and this was what we got. If you're starving and someone gives you a cracker, you're going to think that cracker is the best cracker you've ever had (thanks Eddie Murphy). Its a big L if they dont build on this momentum. if they go back to nothing, then this wont matter. It also ruined those world series rewards. lol. but thats a different conversation for a different time.
