This game is dead the casuals have left

@Bearsfan217 it's weird how many defenders and simps they have roaming these forums. They must only exist here cause I can't imagine people truly feel this way about this game living in the real world.

@AdeptOfMemory
Yoshi, Tyler, Pergo, and BJ are the top 4 I see consistently supporting SDS no matter what they do. All are likely either on the SDS payroll, know someone on the SDS payroll, are trying to get hired by SDS, or are just straight up huge trolls that like riling everybody up by playing devils advocate on the forums.
-
@TripleH-4481 BJ said he blocked me but he's ALWAYS watching and commenting on my posts. I'll admit, I get too heated and invested into these forums but [censored] they get me every time! I need to stop being here lol the game is already taking time off my life and the SDS chumps just pile on lol
-
Game is alive and well, barely getting less views than Pokémon red, people literally just sleeping, Super Mario 64, Yugioh or RuneScape. Okay sure a game where you walk around as a cat and explore is tripling it’s viewers but that won’t last, wait till the biggest content drop of the years comes and everyone can earn 99s! Surely it’ll be popping then

@AdeptOfMemory
I get it because those of us complaining and calling SDS out are passionate about baseball and the game. We love baseball and watching this game decline rapidly into a shell of its former self stinks. It’s really the only game I play and my son just started getting into it last year. Once I give up on this game I’m pretty much done with video games. I understand the business side of it but not at the expense of alienating a good chunk of your player base.

Or have an entirely different opinion and perspective on Diamond Dynasty as a whole than you. Which everyone is entitled too. You can have yours, and I can have mine.

@BJDUBBYAH
You have the strongest opinion of all BJ and I’m quite certain based on your replies you are more than a little full of yourself and have a healthy sized ego. You are right that we all have our opinions. You just don’t like when others don’t match yours. I personally don’t care about how you view this game but get annoyed when you refuse to acknowledge anything bad or controversial on the SDS front. That sir isn’t a good look.
-
@TripleH-4481 Right back at ya champ. At least I don't hurl insults at you, call people shills and trolls, accuse them of sucking off SDS, you know, real adult stuff because of a difference of opinion.
Game's dead huh?

The problem with the maybe 10 of you in this thread is you all act like you're some vocal majority of discontent with the game and SDS. You're not. You are just in an echo chamber and refuse to accept there are people who actually enjoy this year's gameplay and content structure.
For perspective though, the current Ranked Season began just over 28 hours ago, and here are the player totals from each division, so, number of players who played just Ranked Seasons in the last 28 hours
60 players in World Series,
165 players in Championship Series,
2520 players in Division Series,
6120 players in Wild Card,
19140 players in Pennant Race
62685 players in All Star
48490 players in Regular Season
12510 in Spring Training,151960 players, have played Ranked Seasons in the last 28 hours. That's just Ranked. Not Events, BR or what most people are probably doing, grinding Team Affinity offline.
But 10 or so people like yourself in this thread will tell you, "the game is dead" because of their opinion.

The fact that SDS has already sent out a player feedback survey in early May tells me that they have seen player engagement trends that they do not like

@jake98833
I think you’re right. The fact that a TON of questions focused heavily on content structure, and things like “series” collections(veteran, post season, SHH etc) and season structure tells me that they’re at least aware of the mass blowback this years release has had.
And honestly after this TA drop, my heart sunk and kinda pushed me to the brink of shelving the game. I feel like they’re all about letting us “play the way we want” provided it’s the way they want and in the modes they want.
Picked a helluva year to spoil myself and get the digital deluxe:(

This thread is titled "the game is dead and the casuals have left"
The fact that the overwhelming majority of players who've played the new Ranked Season are in or below Wild Card, AKA rank 600 and below. Tells me the casuals have not left.
We also got surveys at the end of every set last year. It's not new.
-
Nobody is going to question where he actually got those numbers seems completely made up. Just for reference those numbers are almost 4x bigger than Madden at peak so I’m gonna call bs
-
I look at how many people are at P1 on cards as my barometer for how many are playing. If you pay attention, depending on if the card is in a pack, or if it's tied to a program, etc you'll see a substantial drop off compared to past years. They always tend to drop as the year goes on, but I've noticed a big decline considering it's only early May.
-
@VioletNine9 from the Ranked Season, current season leaderboards. You can look them up yourself.
-
Has anyone else noticed that when you sell a card in the app it doesn't give you a notification that it sold? I've been having that problem since yesterday I've even went as far as to uninstall and reinstall the app but that didn't work either and yes I do have that notification turned on, can anyone please help
-
@VioletNine9 you’re also a casual with game history from today and 260 hours logged. You clearly haven’t left.

So If I do not share your opinion, I have to have the wish to work @SDS (which would be pretty hard, living on another continent …
The problem is: If anybody just does not say: You are right (and I mean without a „but“ that follows), he is wrong.
If that is your standpoint, you should consider quitting the internet or at least this forum.
There is not always a right or wrong, most of times it is in between …You won‘t read this either, but I‘ll say it once again (knowing, that it won‘t fit your narrative of some guys just simply wanting to work @SDS because they do not share your opinion completely).
24 is much much better than last year. The power creep is back and that is awesome. I liked 21/22 better, but everything is better than 23.
The bad things imo are: Packs should also be earnable, there are not enough programs for offline players. I agree, that there are too many foul balls.
But I do not share that this game is pay to win, because if you cannot play the cards do not matter.But again: You do not want to read good things. You guys want to rant no matter what and not acknowledge any good things. If ranting is your way of „giving feedback“ (btw: I do not see any proposals for improvement, most of the times it‘s just and only rants), you better stop, because nobody will listen to that

Yeah, its a lazy argument that is used by haters of every game against those who do not agree with them. I see it in almost every game forum I visit.
If a reviewer gives a good review of a game they don't like then that reviewer or website was paid off. Of course these same people will quote that website when they give a bad review to a game they don't like.
If another gamer likes a game you hate they are automatically a dev on a fake account or friend/family member of a dev.
