What else is worthy of discussion at this point in the year, when the last years game has wound down and we have no info about next years version yet.

I like the discussion, but do we need to spread it over dozens of threads (I am including those not existing yet :)) … really annoying. Is it really so hard to scroll just some lines in the General-department-section here in the forum?

Am I the only one that uses the Recent posts option to just see all new topics regardless of the section they are in?
It's not like the other sections get many posts.

Vlad Jr. is a total shock to me, as cover athlete. I don't consider him a star yet. Winning the HRD is the biggest thing he's done so far.
One super cool fact is that Vlad Sr. was on the cover of 'High Heat 2002!!!'
They may be the only father/son duo to appear on a licensed sports game cover!!
Fun fact: Sr. said he would face the next night's pitcher that he would face in the game to prepare! -

I said it after the father's day program, but I hope that SR. is the legend on the second cover. I think a "Family tree edition" would be fun. Imagine Yaz and Mike together. Or the Gwynns. It's a game, let's have some fun.

I can still hear the 989 Sports! intro clear as a bell brings back great memories
