Griffey:122/111/125/121/109 with 98 Fielding and 90 Speed

Cutch has the lowest arm strength, vs. R is more important and vision doesn't matter enough to knock Trout for that. If you don't hit as well with Griffey or Trout that is fine but McCutchen is objectively not better than those two cardsLol you’re really paying attention too much the attributes
If you go by attributes Gary Sheff is the best card in the game
Cutch is glitchy just like Brett- there are cards with better attributes but there’s just something about Brett that he plays wayyy better and same thing with Cutch
Cutch is better than Griffey lol- that’s not a debate- and as far as hitting with Griffey- he’s never even made my lineup my outfield is too stacked lol
But Trout will def be in there when I get him-

Like I said before you see Cutch in most content creators line up still to this day- Griffey not so much
It looks to me you are just refusing to believe that the collection rewards have been passed by. You are playing Rollins and Lindor in the outfield and have Bo Bichette at short. Brett is still a top option but he's been passed by at 3rd too. I understand you spent a lot time and stubs on the collection rewards but the top 3 outfielders year in and year out are Trout, Griffey, and Mantle. This year will be absolutely no different

It could be because he’s a lefty but my stats with a few players are better than Cutch. Including Vlad Sr,Bader and some other guys. Call me crazy but I even use Lou Brock,Gwynn or Corbin Carroll in place of Cutch pretty often. Just because I like have fast lead off guys. Plus at this point in the year with so many 99s you can use just about anyone. I love switching my lineups up daily.

I think some people overthink attributes. On paper that Trout is likely the best current OF card, but if you cant hit with it, it doesn't matter. (ie that cutch card rakes) Find the card with the best attributes that you perform well with and stick with it until you find better. To me its trial and error, I couldn't hit [censored] with Piazza, so I dont use him etc etc

I love that Cutch card but I definitely don’t think he’s better than Griffey or Trout. Here’s a hot take. I’m not even sure if he would even start over Vlad Sr,Bader or some of the other elite outfielders that are out now. Now saying he’s worse but I’m not sure that he’s better either.

I literally was just having a convo with a too 50 player last week while he was drafting a BR team and he stated that Cutch is the best card in the game
Yes this was before trout but the question asked in this thread is who is as good as trout to use as a replacement and you dudes are saying Harrison Bader before you’re saying Cutch
Trust me it’s very rare that a card you get from a free program is going to be better than a Card that’s behind a collection wall

I get wayyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy more hits with 99 Swisher (free card) Than any other player in my library. Point is the top 50 players best card might not be the same for everybody. I think there are swing types that make it more comfortable for people which allows SDS to create more diversity. Which is what we have asked for for years.
This is why the Market is a sham b/c the 500k to 1 mil cards may not play better than the 60k card. So in a sense forcing people to collect cards to aquire cards that are unbuyable is kinda in a sense a market manipulation in a way but not to an extreme, because people have a choice to collect or not.
#Allcardsavailabletoeveryone Top cards via BR,RS, or Events is one the worst things they have done in recent years. Those are the highest price cards on the Market. So they are basically saying Win or pay a million stubs for a card.
And i respond with if that's the case then either change the limit of Max price lower or make every card available regardless what mode you play. Because in the end most people like to play with players they either grow up watching or because it is a game and should be fun for everyone not just people who have countless hours to grind the 3 competitive modes.
With that being said the other programs was a nice addition for really good playable cards. Just my personal opinion is every card should be available through stats aquired. Whether that means with players from same team or actual attribute type stats.

Really interesting to see everyone's perspective. Right now we have Griffey and McCutchen are the only ones who come close to Trout. All three have power and speed. Many of the other guys mentioned have similar hitting stats but no speed. Plus you throw in active quirks for Trout, boom best card in the game. Now I do think Julio Rodriguez gets a really nice card today (speed and power) which should be a nice fill in until my Trout order fills. We also have not seen a good Mantle which if they give him the attributes he should get, would automatically be the best card because of switch hitting. My end game OF last year was Griffey, Mantle, Trout. I expect it to be the same this year.

Everyone plays different with players’ cards than others, as has been said. However, I believe that the majority of people would count Posada as a top 5 Catcher. Didn’t look at the rest of the list, but I fully agree that attributes alone do not make a card great. Many love Piazza, but I can never hit well with him. Another player that comes to mind is Manny Machado. He has one of the best Finest cards in The Show 20, but his swing just never plays like his attributes for me. Other cards play high above.

This is a great find, I had not seen this before. Only 3 I would agree with are Griffey, Jimmy and Foxx. Maybe Mauer. Thier starting pitchers are way off. Wagner and Chapman are top 2 RP but then the 2 MA guys? SHeff looks great on paper but I have yet to see many people who use him and like him. ANd the MS Judge, is a card who I thought I would love, but that vision is still brutal.

McCutchen: 116/125/106/115/100 with 94 Fielding and 87 Speed
Griffey:122/111/125/121/109 with 98 Fielding and 90 Speed
Trout:113/121/125/125/81 with 91 Fielding and 99 Speed
Cutch has the lowest arm strength, vs. R is more important and vision doesn't matter enough to knock Trout for that. If you don't hit as well with Griffey or Trout that is fine but McCutchen is objectively not better than those two cardsLol you’re really paying attention too much the attributes

Cutch is glitchy just like Brett- there are cards with better attributes but there’s just something about Brett that he plays wayyy better and same thing with Cutch

It looks to me you are just refusing to believe that the collection rewards have been passed by. You are playing Rollins and Lindor in the outfield and have Bo Bichette at short. Brett is still a top option but he's been passed by at 3rd too. I understand you spent a lot time and stubs on the collection rewards but the top 3 outfielders year in and year out are Trout, Griffey, and Mantle. This year will be absolutely no different

And for what its worth, I hit 20 times better with Wade Boggs than I do Brett.
