Looks like all the scrubs are out.

You don’t face these players 90-95% of the time. I guarantee I play this game way more than you online and while I do encounter all of the above things you have mentioned, it is absolutely nowhere near as often as you always complain that it is. Also a very high % of the players who do this are not very good so you’re best bet is to just focus up and beat them.

They're still out. Just had someone dashboard on what would have be a Grand Slam with PS Posada.
They pitched in the dirt ALL game, not toxic and part of the game, until I finally caught on to their play style. After walking the first three batters, to load the bases, they finally decided to try and catch me off guard with a pitch in the zone. Jumped in it and they dashboarded so fast that I don't even think the announcer had time to mention the hit.
Funny thing is that my GF was sitting beside me watching the game and I told her even before he pitched the ball 'watch, if I connect with this next pitch; they'll dashboard'.

You know who doesn't do any of that stuff?

Yeah. I'm starting to think it's not worth the hassel and I should just buy the cards.

People really gotta get over this quick pitching thing. The game gives you more than enough time to be prepared for a pitch, but it's also solid strategy to mix it up and helps move the game along.
I partially disagree on the quick pitching. I had a guy last week that as soon as the screen shifted to him having the ball in his hand he was already in the windup .0001 seconds after he had it.
While it is definitely my responsibility to be ready for the pitch it makes it impossible to try and get your bullpen ready if the pitchers spot is due up that inning. My real problem with that cheeser was that he would R2 spam non stop when he was batting. Quick pitch to me, but want me to give him lots of time to get ready? That's a totally toxic player.

If someone here wants to tell me how I can upload a video of my gameplay; I will gladly share a 15 min video of someone R2 spamming and bunt dancing for the ENTIRE length of the video. That way all you doubters can see for yourselves.
-
Nobody doubts you. We’ve all played opponents like this. It’s not much fun, but as has been pointed out, usually these types of players are not that good.
The whole aim is to [censored] you off and get you off your game or to quit to give them an easy win.
It’s really a shame that the game kind of enables this stuff, and even kind of encourages it with all the annoying sounds.
It helps to remember that you’re probably playing a 13 year old.
Run him down on the base paths and get the win.

Would be hilarious if OP got banned for abusing the report system

I just asked my children to turn their consoles off, feel free to play.

No one doubts that it happens but especially those 2 things are not exploits or cheats. Just dbag moves to frustrate the opponent which clearly works on you. The thing people doubt I’m sure is the frequency with which this happens to you. Reading your posts one would think you play 100 online games a day and face 99 toxic opponents. Either you are the unluckiest person ever or you exaggerate a bit. Which from past posts/usernames it seems you don’t have an issue with blatantly lying soupy can’t get to upset when people doubt you

Played an event game last night. Here's what I hate -- dude lets the full intro play out, all the cutscenes play out, and stands on the mound staring for 10 seconds before pitching. I'll take slide stepping over that any day. Sent the guy a message "ffs play the game" and it had no impact, so I replayed my 3 HR's and mocked him for trying to bunt. He quit after the second so I sent a final message to not be a dweeb and just play the game.
Don't be one of those guys who tries to drag out an event game. THAT's "toxic." (But still not reportable.)
-
There's no such thing as quick pitching on this game. There isn't one person, that plays The Show, with the ability to pitch faster than the game allows. The people that complain about it are really saying, "I don't like that this guy doesn't d.i.c.k. around and take forever between pitches."
-
Why do people get so upset about opponents bunt dancing? What effect does that have on gameplay or on your own ability to play the game? If it's just because "tHeY'rE bUnT dAnCiNg!!!!" then... come on. Grow up.

I love when opponents start bunt dancing.
-
If they have to result to that kind of behavior to get in an opponent's head, then they probably suck at the game.
-
It doesn't throw off my pitching, but it definitely seems to throw off their timing when hitting.

Actually, what we are really saying is, “I am trying to pinch hit for my pitcher. Can you stop firing bullets long enough for the game to let me do that?”
-
What do you know. First game of the night and I match up with a scrub that holds R2 EACH AND EVERY BATTER. Also pauses and unpauses before EACH AND EVERY PITCH he throws.
-
Well, at least you know you’ll get some fastballs to hit…

Can we guess his next account name? He is about to rant about toxic players and leave this one behind.
My guess is GoodSportAthlete or something similar.
