Reported them for what exactly? Also, what do you expect them to do when your opponents aren’t doing anything illegal, cheating, etc.?
-
Some of those things are not an exploit. You are aloud to pick rain as an option if you are the home team. What’s wrong with an opener? Are you talking about taking extra steps on the base path?
-
Not sure what you are complaining about. It seems like you are just a big baby.
-
@Mike__Honcho_361 @virusts_XBL ok, so what you're saying is you don't care if your opponent holds R2 after EVERY pitch, quick pitches you (pauses and unpauses before each pitch), takes 4-5 extra steps off the base so they're halfway to second before you can even step off the mound, playa in a laggy stadium in the rain, tries to steal home and when you throw it to the catcher runs back to third and tries to run back to home, bunt dances with EVERY batter, and while I know using an Opener is part of the game; don't use an opener if you're going to bring in a starter in the third inning of a BR game.
You play someone that does 90-95% of the above EVERY game and come back and tell me they're not being toxic.
-
LMAO how bout just playing BASEBALL for FFS.
-
An opponent doing something that annoys you is not an exploit. The only actions you mentioned that are even close to being an exploit are taking 3-4 extra steps if they can still make it back to 1st on a pickoff, and running back and forth on the bases. The later has been heavily nerfed the past few years since they added the stumble animation, so I doubt that is really much of an issue at this point. Back in 17 people would steal constantly and run back to first if they got a bad jump without consequence. That is an example of an exploit, and reporting it would result in devs attempting to fix the issue if it also concerns them. If you think devs are going to ban everyone that is mildly annoying, then prepare to be incredibly disappointed.
I'd like to add that your opener complaint, especially with the context given above of it being in BR, is absurd. Wouldn't you want your opponent to bring in a starter? The H/9 and K/9 on gold and below cards are typically a lot lower than relief pitchers. If anything, your opponent probably did you a favor, and if I had to guess it was likely because the rest of the bullpen was shot and they didn't have much of a choice. The only reason I can think of wasting a diamond starter in that scenario is if the bullpen was trash or tired, and they needed the save. Even in that scenario they are already being penalized by stamina of that good starter being shot for multiple starts in a row. Using a starter out of the pen in BR puts you at a disadvantage.
If you continue to act like Chicken Little yelling about the sky falling, then no one (devs included) are going to take you seriously if an exploit actually is used.

Toxic does not equal illegal/cheating. I know plenty of people in real life who are Dbags but nothing they do is illegal, just annoying like the things you stated you reported.
-
Complaining about an "opener" in BR followed by a starter out of the pen for the 3rd inning. Bahahahahaha! Instant classic!
-
You're reporting people for being annoying. These guys might be losers, but there's nothing to report.
The opener thing is too much -- these are all fake, ridiculous fantasy cards. It's like saying you reported a guy with all switch hitters on his team. Pitch whoever you want whenever you want.
I hate all this [censored], but there's nothing to report.
-
People really gotta get over this quick pitching thing. The game gives you more than enough time to be prepared for a pitch, but it's also solid strategy to mix it up and helps move the game along.

I’ve been playing DD for 4 years and put a lot of hours in online, never have i ever encountered someone that i considered pitching too quickly to give me enough time to be ready, only guys I consider to be taking too much time between pitches.

EVERY SINGLE PERSON I PLAYED TONIGHT ABUSED SOME KIND IF EXPLOIT
Quick Pitching
R2 Spamming
Running back and forth on the bases
Taking 3-4 extra steps
Playing in a stadium with rain
Using an Opener and then bringing in a starterI reported every single one; but I don't even think that does anything as I've played people that I've reported multiple times.
Chris Martin just quick pitched someone vs. The Padres a few days ago. Padres and Dodgers also played in the rain. And complaining about using an opener??? Do you watch baseball?

i agree with all this being douchey ( except the opener, that is what it is) But it is toxic play, not exploits. I just report them in game for toxic play, add bunt dancing and cheesing and you had yourself a day l

Only thing you can do is get better at the game and beat them.
I believe I’m 22-3 in the event. Pretty sure all my losses are by a walk off or a run. Anyways my point is….I don’t really care about people doing that [censored] because I beat them anyways.

Winning and being a good sport are not the same thing.

Nobody cares man we all run into annoying players the fact that you are reporting people for doing things that are well within the rules is ridiculous. Your a snitch in a situation where nobody is doing anything against the rules. Taking 3-4 extra steps?? Throw a pick off man what’s next your going to complain about them throwing curveballs in the dirt?

You're reporting players for being annoying? Let me just look at the Report a Player Form you fill out
Please choose the area of the report
- Suspicious Activity
- Harassment
- Offensive Team Name, location or Logo
- Offensive Player name
Those are the four options so which one are your reporting them for. You have no basis to report any of them for the offenses you listed.
- Quick Pitching - How long are they supposed to wait? Do they need to stop and count to 5 first? By the way you have tool to combat quick pitchers and surprise, it is the R2 button.
- R2 Spamming - What is the allowed number of times per inning or per game? Can I use it more if my opponent is quick pitching?
- Running Back and forth on the Bases - I am not even sure what that is.
- Taking three or four extra steps - Can you throw over and get them out? Step off the mound?
- Playing in a stadium with rain - If that was reportable it would be very easy for SDS to remove that as an option. They don't so it is allowed.
- Using an Opener - Isn't that allowed in real baseball? How is that against the rules?
You're coming off as petty, spoiled, and entitled expecting everyone else to play by your "unwritten rules" and provide you with a perfect playing experience. And on top of that you are clogging up the support queue with reports that should have never been sent.

And people on here wonder why SDS doesn't respond right away to their requests!

In game report. Not after the game.
