I think it’s a little shady they wouldn’t either move him to FA now or make a statement saying he will be. Looks like they’re trying to benefit from the situation and milk people from their stubs.
If he’s not in packs, he should not be apart of the collection.

Nope. Just from packs. Unless you were lucky and got him as a Daily Log In cars. But that would be very rare.

SDS set the precedent with Laureano by removing him for the same violation. Doing anything less with Tatis is suspect and appears to only be a cash grab, especially since he's been removed from packs. It won't be a good look for SDS.

We have to wait until the next Roster Update.
Removing a card from packs is done server side. But changing the team/free agency of a player requires a roster update be pushed. So hopefully Friday, assuming that is the next roster update.
Why would they make him a FA? He’s still on the team
For the average player they almost always go on the FA list when they are on the Injured Reserved list.
Luis Severino is listed as a Free Agent
Michael King is listed as a free agent
Jack Flaherty is listed as a free agent
Stephen Strasburg is listed as a free agentThey have usually avoided making that move for diamond players, especially high diamonds like Tatis and Harper. iI assume they do that to keep collections more expensive.
But if they have taken Tatis out of packs and there are no more being pulled then his card will become too prohibitively expensive to reasonably expect people to be able to finish the collection.

You have to be trolling here. They can't pull a LS card from circulation AND keep it as part of the LS Collection.
So what you're saying is that they shouldn't put him in the FA collection and make EVERYONE that doesn't have him locked in already pay 300-400K for him? That makes no sense.

They have two choices here. Move him to the FAs or put him back in packs.

I don’t think they care how they look. It’s all about the money. I don’t think they have any pride. Just my opinion

He will be moved to the FA pool on Friday. Roster changes occur on Fridays which includes transactions. The process of taking him out of packs is likely a much simpler process.
Moral of the story is don't buy the card right now as you will effectively be wasting your stubs

If they don’t move him into FA or at least back in packs I may cry.

Thank you for putting it that way. I think a lot of people have been trying to say that throughout this thread, but the message just doesn’t seem to be coming across. I am just waiting for people to complain a week from now that they paid over $300k for him and how he isn’t even in the collection.
