I have not checked but people are saying that the location tab of the card does not show packs as an option anymore

If you go into the card and click on the locations tab it no longer shows that it is available in show packs. This is why the price has skyrocketed....there are less out there and people are panic buying because they think they will need it for the Padres collection. No way they keep him in the collection if it is not in packs.

Because you can't pull him anymore, he is at like 400k on the market now

They should remove him from the set. It’s ridiculous how much he is and required for a team set he’s not even playing with this year.
For those that traded him in, move his trade in value to 200k
That would be fair and right

We have to wait until the next Roster Update.
Removing a card from packs is done server side. But changing the team/free agency of a player requires a roster update be pushed. So hopefully Friday, assuming that is the next roster update.

Pretty much all the non playing and injured diamonds have remained. That would have saved people so many stubs if they were FA

I was trying to think of his name yesterday. Thank you for reminding me. That’s why I originally said they might move a Tatis to free agency.

I think it’s a little shady they wouldn’t either move him to FA now or make a statement saying he will be. Looks like they’re trying to benefit from the situation and milk people from their stubs.
If he’s not in packs, he should not be apart of the collection.

Ramon Laureano was an 83 overall and was gold (see here)
Tatis is a 95 overall and a high diamond....

Nope. Just from packs. Unless you were lucky and got him as a Daily Log In cars. But that would be very rare.

Whats the huge difference??? Just cause he's assigned a diamond rating doesn't change the fact that he has been handed a suspension from MLB. SDS set the precedent with Laureano by removing him for the same violation. Doing anything less with Tatis is suspect and appears to only be a cash grab, especially since he's been removed from packs. It won't be a good look for SDS.

For the average player they almost always go on the FA list when they are on the Injured Reserved list.
Luis Severino is listed as a Free Agent
Michael King is listed as a free agent
Jack Flaherty is listed as a free agent
Stephen Strasburg is listed as a free agentThey have usually avoided making that move for diamond players, especially high diamonds like Tatis and Harper. iI assume they do that to keep collections more expensive.
But if they have taken Tatis out of packs and there are no more being pulled then his card will become too prohibitively expensive to reasonably expect people to be able to finish the collection.
