Tell your buddies and family how as a grown man you were banned for being a whiny [censored]
Very productive input to this thread. What a quality person you are
Funny how pointing out the numerous flaws in this game on the official forum for the game is considered “whining”
You’re an absolute clown and welcome to the block list
Clown this thread is pointless yet you whining about being banned stfu
Didn’t whine at all being banned. I simply stated after being off this forum for 3 days, it’s funny and sad to see more and more people realize how bad this game is
Where did I once complain about the ban? Seems like you have great reading comprehension
And what’s worse? Someone pointing out flaws of a game on the forum that is intended to discuss the game itself? Or, you as a person trolling these forums complaining daily about others opinions on this game? Sad life and a sad human
And yet here you are whining about a game that’s so bad
Go ahead and edit another comment that makes 0 sense. Didn’t complain about my ban so you edit your comment
Pointing out flaws of a game doesn’t equal whining and if you had any semblance of intelligence you would realize that
Yes we all agree outer pci is a joke happy
Stop whining….you’re a man. You’re 40.

The people that defend the game get the same treatment that you guys claim to be "toxic." It's not a matter of wether your an SDS defender or not. The problem is 98% of the threads are negative and come across as whiny.
If you can't find anything good to say about the game then maybe look around the forum and try to see from other persons perspective. But all i see is constant bashing and i see ALOT of changes that are for the better but those points of views seem to get swept under the rug.
So take a step back, remember game has only been out 3 weeks. Teams have only played what 16 games maybe? These guys have always gone out of thier way to bring us things we like. Does it always launch smoothly? No, but i assure they do more to fix and solve issues than any other sports game developer. I quit buying EA products 10 years ago and 2k about same time.
But the 1 constant is SDS has always addressed issues the same year or came back next launch and improved it. That is why i have supported them since 2009. And numerous times last year and this year they talked about foundation within the game being improved. And i see the improvements and i personally I am not gonna miss out on what they are coming up with in the future. Because i see potential for SDS setting the standard within the sports gaming industry. And i find that very exciting!!!
What leads you to the conclusion they could set the standard in sports games? I see them going the route of the other companies.
What improvements have they made from the feed back people provide? As far as I can tell, the game has the same major issues most people lose their minds over year after year. I do think they try but results are lacking. For example the constant bs foul offs. Tony Gwynn you get a pass but every batter to step in the box is not Gwynn. Getting rid of the vision section of the pci would go along way to fixing this issue and that has been brought up for years.
High sinkers is another issue they still can’t get right, personally they can leave that. We should all be use to it and ready for it by now. Base running is a complete circus, I will say defense has improved IMO.
I get saying we need positive feedback and such but people have provided feedback for years on the major issues with the game. Nothing has change, after awhile you got to learn positive feedback isn’t working. Honestly feedback in general doesn’t seem to work unless it is to add a flag to a stadium.
Before i respond i'm referring to the game as whole not just DD.
What leads me to think they could set the standard in sports game industry? I'm basing it off of the fact that they have done alot of backend foundation work to RTTS,MTO, and Franchise. I like what i'm seeing in regards to getting to a new level. When you build something it needs a foundation.
What improvements have they made from feedback people provide? For 1 they implemented the PCI lock feature so you can get more solid contact without PCI jumping everywhere. 2.) We asked to have more types of hit result rather than homerun or bust. 3.) We asked for smarter AI for closer and more challenging gameplay vs CPU. 4.) We asked for different mode for offline. Mini-seasons. 5.) We asked for COOP play. 6.)We asked for created stadiums. 7.) We asked for real jerseys for our DD teams. 8.) people asked for an APP so they could do things on the market from thier phone. 9.) We asked for different avenue to get WS and BR rewards without have to go WS or Flawless. 10.) We asked for new commentary and it's really good in RTTS,Franchise, and MTO where it is designed to shine. 11.) They put a stop to Quick pitching/R2 spamming that was issue last year. 12.) They introduced a more accurate pitching mechanic in PPP. We asked for a more stable launch and servers and no issues. Just to name a few.
High sinkers issue just started last year when they introduced Par feature, with a lil more tweaking it will be fine.
As far as major issues go, none of us know what they are doing to resolve them. Maybe they are hard to replicate and it takes longer to figure out. But just because something isn't working does not mean they aren't trying. Anybody who thinks this development team isn't trying to get to the bottom of the problems either knows nothing about SDS or they are thick headed. They want the game to work as much as we do if not more . They play the game as much as we do. I'm sorry but they put thier signature on the game of course they want it to work.
Anyways i see the positive changes they have made and are still making so i'm not worried. Possibilities are endless. I could even see in the future they might make it to where we have our own created ballplayers being implemented into COOP play who knows?

It’s somewhat satisfying, yet sad, to see more and more players come the conclusion that this years game is pathetic in terms of online play.
As others have mentioned, I’ve never had less fun in a moonshot event than this one and I’m sitting at 26-3 overall.
Insane how this game rewards players who have the plate discipline of a sponge. The outer PCI NEEDS TO BE REMOVED.
Physics defying when a player swings very early at a well outside pitch or a well-in-the-dirt pitch and gets a foul tip but that happens literally multiple times an AB.
It’s so obvious that they do not want newer/less skilled players to strike out. Why are you so scared of letting people strike out?
And as plenty of others said, it’s just awful how often terrible swings are rewarded with bloop hits and hits off weak contact. Why are these not outs 80% or more of the time?
I get it’s a business, they have to retain players. But at what cost? This game is obviously in a terrible state and it’s obvious that we’re heading down the route of catering to casual players within online play
I’ve yet to see any consistency from one RS/event/BR game to the next
I’ve had a few buddies and family ask how The Show is this year bc they know how much I used to love this game and would watch my streams at times.
I’ve told every one of them to not waste their money on this game and that it’s not going to get better any time soon.
Sad that 22 is giving 18 a run for its money. I have minuscule faith that any patch can correct how bad this year is, but, miracles can happen I suppose?
You deserve your banned ... how can you possibly talk negatively about this divine creation by the gods of baseball I named SDS ...? They add so beautiful card art I feel like I walk on a rainbow and what you do about the addition of mini season, this awesome gameplay you can't play ? Don't you like to get robbed of 100$ ? YOU ARE A BAD CUSTOMER !!! BAD BAD BAD !!! ........................ what a bunch of arss hole !!!!

I don’t mind those defending the game. I tend to like to hear what positive experiences or aspects of the game that others think have been made as it does give me a bit of perspective.
Although I may disagree with those that defend certain flaws of this game, you won’t find me bashing them for enjoying the game.
I agree that perspective is important and yes, DD is by far the best UT mode I’ve played. But the online gameplay this year has taken multiple steps back
That can be pointed out while still appreciating other improvements that have been made. There just seem to be very little actual improvements in comparison to the issues this game has
I appreciate your comment
For instance i would tell New Players stop throwing in the dirt so much. Or out of zone so much and you might actually get someone not chasing so much. Trust in your pitchers stats and your pitch selection to force a groundballs or flyouts.
It’s hard to trust the game / pitchers however when even when I do everything I’m supposed to perfectly, the game doesn’t reflect that.
As my simple example, this video of PAR being completely irrelevant on what is supposedly a perfect accuracy pitch:
https://youtu.be/2cU0HoweY3YYes it’s Lugo’s second best pitch, yes there was some yellow in the effort meter, however according to the game the pitch should have landed in the PAR circle not a foot outside of it.
This is offline (franchise spring training) and only a single pitch captured however the reason I captured it is because I saw it happen so many times and decided to finally edit one together (was quite time consuming to do so otherwise I’d do a compilation :)).
Now I personally don’t care as much as some people; I don’t play DD seriously but I can understand how stuff like this (pitches not going where they should or all of the other legitimate complaints) would get to people who have more of a commitment to the DD content in the game than I do. Although I personally don’t understand that commitment but anyway that’s a whole other debate.

With all due respect you still have to factor elevation and pitch movement from within the zone. 1000+ elevation the ball moves different.

Fair enough. I wouldn’t disagree with your list at all but would say that what is listed deals very little with game play mechanics, which is the cause of most people dissatisfaction. Also game play mechanics most likely receives the highest feedback. I do disagree with your high sinkers comment. I have been hitting and throwing high sinkers long before last year.Major issues for the most part are more difficult to address but most of the big ticket items have been there for years. Foul off bs been around for as long as I can remember playing this game, which is from the very start. That issue would be improved 2000% just by removing the outer PCI.
I have seen a lot of changes made in the list you provided and they improve the game. Unfortunately for me I prefer better gameplay over being able to use a created player in COOP and you are more likely to get that before I don’t see 8 foul offs on pitches bouncing off the plate. Foul balls are just one of the issues but is also probably the easiest to address.

This is the key.
Criticizing the game is fine. People do it all day, every day on this site. But some seem believe that criticizing the game and being rude and insulting to the developers are one in the same. They are not.

I will be critical of this game until they either fix it or pay me back with cash. Until then I will not stop no matter how many SDS defenders come at me.
I do not play much online, when I do it is for fun, this stuff does not bother me all that much. It does suck when players should be striking out not fouling off pitch after pitch. I love pitching in this game. Pitching has not been good since 2017. I think one of the biggest problems was the switch to 125 attributes.

Fair enough but Phoenix isn’t that elevated

2nd highest elevation in MLB parks, Coors #1, Braves is close to Arizona.
