Let me guess, you were banned for being harsh towards the game….all the while the mod allows the same handful of members to defend the game by hijacking threads with nothing but inappropriate comments/insults.

My criticism of this game is solely intended to hopefully catch someone’s eyes than can make a change. I criticize the game because I love baseball and The Show used to be enjoyable when playing online, and I hope my criticism as well as others leads to improvements in the future
Blows me away how people get upset at others voicing their concerns of a video game on the literal forum intended for gameplay feedback
I understand numerous threads on the same issue can become exhausting…but what some people never realize is you don’t have to read the topic or thread…you can simply keep scrolling and cease to make yourself look like an [censored]
But I’ve been here long enough, should know by now there are garbage humans creeping around this forum

Lol yup, and I’ll admit, it was probably warranted since I directed a lot of anger at SDS which I know is against TOS. Don’t mind being banned, was only 72 hours.
Is what it is, I’ll continue to voice criticism of this game but keep in mind to keep the criticism aimed at the game itself I suppose
And I 100% agree with you. Plenty of people here that should be banned for making offensive comments directed at other users that have nothing to do with this game. I personally don’t care what others direct at me. Keyboard warriors crack me up
Crazy how they continue to not get banned though

I will be critical of this game until they either fix it or pay me back with cash. Until then I will not stop no matter how many SDS defenders come at me.

Physics defying when a player swings very early at a well outside pitch or a well-in-the-dirt pitch and gets a foul tip but that happens literally multiple times an AB.
It’s so obvious that they do not want newer/less skilled players to strike out. Why are you so scared of letting people strike out?
And as plenty of others said, it’s just awful how often terrible swings are rewarded with bloop hits and hits off weak contact. Why are these not outs 80% or more of the time?
I get it’s a business, they have to retain players. But at what cost? This game is obviously in a terrible state and it’s obvious that we’re heading down the route of catering to casual players within online play
I’ve yet to see any consistency from one RS/event/BR game to the next
I’ve had a few buddies and family ask how The Show is this year bc they know how much I used to love this game and would watch my streams at times.
I’ve told every one of them to not waste their money on this game and that it’s not going to get better any time soon.
Sad that 22 is giving 18 a run for its money. I have minuscule faith that any patch can correct how bad this year is, but, miracles can happen I suppose?
After the BR and event runs this weekend, it definitely surpassed 18 for me. I just made a post about the grinding for no rewards and between that and game play it is very obvious to me. Just one rare round out of the 3 big dogs and I would have felt rewarded. Maybe something out the headliner and 5 packs. Nada.
I will try to make a run at WS but 400 innings is a huge stretch. I'm just over 200 I think with 35 games. If I don't make WS this will be the first time I haven't made it when actually trying.

Agree. Not a fan of the content structure so far but I know that can change
But still don’t care about content or what I pull out of packs when the gameplay itself ruins the experience and no shiny new card will outweigh the negative gameplay
I’m sitting at 400ish rating in RS at 7-0 but I don’t even really want to push for WS this coming week but I’m very competitive (to a fault sometimes) and will try to make a push but already accepting that I’m subjecting myself to frustration
If I didn’t love baseball and didn’t just get a PS5 about 2 months ago being excited to play The Show on new-gen, I would have uninstalled this game already

The people that defend the game get the same treatment that you guys claim to be "toxic." It's not a matter of wether your an SDS defender or not. The problem is 98% of the threads are negative and come across as whiny.
If you can't find anything good to say about the game then maybe look around the forum and try to see from other persons perspective. But all i see is constant bashing and i see ALOT of changes that are for the better but those points of views seem to get swept under the rug.
So take a step back, remember game has only been out 3 weeks. Teams have only played what 16 games maybe? These guys have always gone out of thier way to bring us things we like. Does it always launch smoothly? No, but i assure they do more to fix and solve issues than any other sports game developer. I quit buying EA products 10 years ago and 2k about same time.
But the 1 constant is SDS has always addressed issues the same year or came back next launch and improved it. That is why i have supported them since 2009. And numerous times last year and this year they talked about foundation within the game being improved. And i see the improvements and i personally I am not gonna miss out on what they are coming up with in the future. Because i see potential for SDS setting the standard within the sports gaming industry. And i find that very exciting!!!

I agree that perspective is important and yes, DD is by far the best UT mode I’ve played. But the online gameplay this year has taken multiple steps back
That can be pointed out while still appreciating other improvements that have been made. There just seem to be very little actual improvements in comparison to the issues this game has

I don't deny that there are issues unresolved year after year like freezes. And that is a key issue. But it seems like it gets blown out of proportion sometimes. I have only played a handful of games online this year. But my experience is the opponent resorting to "cheesy" type play is more common than gameplay issues in my experience.
That doesn't mean i don't believe there are issues that others have experienced that i haven't. It just means that i haven't experienced those issues which forces me to comment on my experience is all.
And based off what i have read on here as opposed to what i personally experienced. Most of the time i lean more toward user error. Because the game is new to alot of people and there is a learning curve. ( no pun intended)
And sometimes it seems most of the complaining comes after a loss or whatever, which leads me to think it's frustration due to not making some neccasary adjustments but rather big Ego's that think they should be able to pick up game and be good automatically b/c Mike Trout is in thier lineup or whatever the case may be.
What community should be doing is giving helpful feedback to new players so that everyone can join an online game and have fun but yet competitve experience.
For instance i would tell New Players stop throwing in the dirt so much. Or out of zone so much and you might actually get someone not chasing so much. Trust in your pitchers stats and your pitch selection to force a groundballs or flyouts.

From my perspective, user error typical isn’t an issue for me and I know/admit when I choked. And it’s not to brag, but my stats speak for themself and I only bring it up to hopefully support the validity of my issues. I’m good at the game, I’ve seen how good it can play and know baseball so I provide feedback in hopes it leads to a better, competitive online game
Cheesers will never go away. There’s always players that have a sole purpose of making the other users experience as bad as they can and winning comes second to that. Is what it is, makes beating them that much better
I also like to use this forum to spread knowledge and opinions on certain cards. When I was new to DD and first found this forum, I cannot explain how helpful it was for me to learn how to play better (using zone hitting) and also learning about efficient ways to grind etc. this forum is a great resource for new players when we have posters actually providing relevant feedback and info
And as to your experience, I’m both jealous and glad to hear you haven’t experienced or endured some of the glaring issues with H2H play.
May you continue to dodge that awful experience lol

Some may over post, I won’t. I’ll voice my concerns in a thread or two depending on how bad the game is.
And then I’ll continue to play accepting the fact that I’m choosing to expose myself to the possible frustration
