Let’s agree on one thing here.
Man if all you people complaining were so good and know it all you should stop whining and put in an application.
Allow only One Press of R2 PER AT Pitch at 3 seconds your choice.
This will satisfy both sides....
Side One (Your not going to quick pitch me clan) They can slow down the at bat by 3 seconds whatever you choose.
Side Two (messing with my PPP or other pitching clan) once they see that they pressed R2 they know it can’t happen again that at bat so they don’t have to worry.

Maybe you wouldn't suck so much if you would pick up a controller and actually play once in awhile. There's no way possible that one person can spend so much time in here complaining about a game but still have time to play it.
They don’t they play a couple games and when one game doesn’t go their way they come to complain on the forums… unlike most of us just take it like an adult and move on.
I am 34-4 Play with majority my favorite team in real life the Rangers and a few with the Marlins but it is just so meh it is only
Dodgers Yankees Padres I go up against shameful
Edit Yankees Dodgers shameful in my experience

Some have stated directly on here that they "spam" (their word) R2 every time they feel quick-pitched (subjective obvs). There's no making them happy unless they can flick R2 whenever they want and they've stated as much.

Yeah to hell with those people don’t care for them.

On this same topic, it is nice that you can see when the other player is holding r2. So, you can wait to start your pitch until they stop. Except some do it as you wind up and if you use PPP, it screws up with your meter and you throw meatballs First thing, once you begin the analog action for ppp, r2 can no longer be used. So instead of trying to pitch at turbo speed take your time between pitches. If someone is r2 spamming that’s the remedy. Not true; if it’s used during the wind up/pitch specific movement of the sequence, the pull down part doesn’t respond and it’s either a ball in the backstop, a beanball or a fat one down the middle.

Yup there is a time during the pull down you can time R2 and mess everything up

I just played BR after work to test it out and the match seemed fine and played smooth. I was the home team. My Hz never dropped below 117hz (except for a second or two while entering the match 47hz or so). While I lost 5-4, I was actually early on a few Hunter Greene FB's and saw the pitches well. My opponent did well, however, keeping me off balance. While I do not know for sure, I believe that online gameplay quality and latency depends mostly on ping. I came to this realization after playing vs someone in Korea a few years ago around 3:00-4:00am....The entire match had horrid latency and even disappearing pitches at times. (FYI: PS5, LGC1, 4k, HDR, VRR, 120hz, all "On" or "Automatic")

Did you read the op post?
My issue is for example. I swing at a high inside pitch but I moved my pci down and hit X for a Normal swing. Inner pci and outer pci were not on the ball that should be a swing and miss for me no matter if you have Good timing
If the Main Pci is or on the opposite side of the plate or Vice versa Up or down of the pitch it should be a swing and miss.

Baseball is a sport where the results don't always match the process, hard hit balls are sometimes outs, weak hit balls are sometimes hits, I know I see some pitches where I know I don't need perfect contact to loop it over the infielders head, just good enough contact, we don't get enough info regarding our opponents inputs to actually know what went on, with that being said, good process will win more often than not over the long haul, small sample size is not super useful in baseball. And as a pitcher you are trying to make them swing and miss or create poor contact, so looks like you were pitching effectively, some balls just happened to find some holes that game.
Well said.

I've been thinking about this a lot lately. Originally I was on the 'remove the outer PCI' train but after more thought I think they need to just shrink it rather than remove it completely.
Would everything fully outside the PCI be a whiff?
Yes should be a wiff
Nobody gives a S-h-I-T
