The thing is it's not a sinker .... sinker ball is just like a 2s fastball used more grip with deadly last second drop... in the game sinker is like a 12/6 102mph curvball muted with invert slider it's ridiculous but ... it's a game the only thing I would like in the future is to stop SDS for calling this game a baseball simulation ....

This game feel like whatever happening is a good old scripted wrestling show ...pretty sure Undertaker will somehow appear and knock the home plate ref with a chair.

I think this year's game did some things well and other things not so well. Because of that I mostly spent my time playing BR and when I was done with that (grew bored of it) that I moved on to other games.

I installed the game again on my PS5 and now that I'm the US (people who know, I've explained). I've played about 20 RS games and one thing that I noticed more than anything is that SP are way too dominant. In those 20 games I did not once go the bullpen. Not once. So I have all these nice shiny players in my bullpen just sitting there. Because who needs Chapman, Kenley or Rivera when you can dominate 9 innings with a rotation of DeGrom, Verlander, Arrieta, Ohtani and Kershaw? Or any other good SP who can throw 140 pitches of 102mph before getting slightly fatigued? There is no balance here whatsoever.

Truth be told, I haven't played much competition in those 20 games, I'm only at the lower 800s. Maybe 3 or 4 guys were decent and they struggled mightily against my starters. I struggled as well, having to face DeGrom for 9 innings straight is hard on HOF and above. Anyone who says otherwise is lying. Sure, I won those games and hit a few bombs off of him. But it's hard. Too hard imo and not really fun.

The problem is a combination of a couple of things. 102 for the entire game is just BS. Even when you're in the yellow, you can hit that. A guy with insane per 9s used to have poor control or poor velo. Now pretty much every top tier SP has elite per 9s, elite control, elite velocity (99-102) and filthy offspeed to go along with it. There is no balance.

We used to only see this with a handful of RP/CP. And that made sense, because you could only use them for 1 or maybe 2 innings. But now, the bullpen has become obsolete. Hopefully this, amongst other things, will be changed for next year's installment.

You lost me at ps5, I hate you.... haha for real i'm 100% down with you plus if you combine connection issues 102 feel like 122 sometimes and it's just unplayable. I will never be elite, I'm too old but at least can I just enjoyed a good game W or L ?

Now here's my question. I am 7 cards away from the live series collection. Acuna was 1 of them. Trout, tatis, ohtani, degrom, Sherzer, and ramirez I can sell acuna and get 2 maybe 3 of the other ones and have some stubs to flip to make get the rest cause I'm nms. But I would have to buy him anyway...... what should I do?

My strategy was to complete division with reward cards I wanna play and I can say this ... I fckn suk with pretty much all of them but now I just miss Tatis and Trout i got enough for tatis but I wanna get the big fish first to get the big hurt, can't wait to suk with him ! Anyway it was tough to focus on collecting when drop/event/RS cards are verry affordable on the market.
