From 2017 late jammed bombs and texas leaguers to last years corner painting PPP and no pci/secondary pci home runs/foul tips off the elbows.
It’s fun to play, but come on now.
People know SDS has people bowling with the bumpers on against people playing the game straight up and they will never admit it. It’s a game, why not just let people fail.
Have a real baseball mode and a kiddie lane/guard rails no gutter balls learn how to play mode…..
This isn’t true or else there wouldn’t be the same consistently top players

maybe we're getting tired of copy-pasting. to start the same programs and team affinity every year to end up always with the same cards and teams. -

First year I won't be buying day one since 17. I just got burnt out on moments after the last couple years. Quit playing in October or so and honestly haven't missed it.
I'll probably pick it up later in the summer on sale, but right now I have zero excitement.

Like previous years I blame hype, gameplay and all other technical difficulties (freeze offs) on lockdowns .
If this years game isnt up to par I feel it will be because of The current events in Europe and high Gas prices.

Last year was cross platform, stadium creator and a legends trailer, this year we have a weird Randy Johnson situation, The Jeter cover Troll, the other legends have been ok, but it’s hard to top Mays, Mantle, and Aaron coming in the game, like the last few years... I really think they need to reveal some DD stuff before the push the button stream and the hype will come.
The hype was released.....created stadiums with night games. I just think the community doesnt understand how this changes things...once they experience in game...I think the hype will come and you will have a lot of players on the fence purchase the game

Lol that’s just the “suggested section” my man. I don’t think MLB has ever broke into the top few pages let alone front page. It’s usually below Pokémon Gold. Not Pokémon go. Gold. The game boy version from the 90s. The biggest MLB stream I’ve seen from non Devs was BeardownAUs freeze off that barely got above 1000 views. Goldy might stream for a day and multiply the MLB viewcount by 300 but that won’t last.
Maybe if SDS could find that “host” button they could help grow the game on twitch but they seem extremely out of touch.
Did you not see Dimmus streams earlier in the year? He would reach 1.5k.

I think they spent way too much time trying to figure out how they could put a functioning game on the Switch Crossplay instead of concentrating more on Nex Gen systems. They seem to be taking a step back.
Yes but financially forward. The more you play the more likely you are to spend. At the dmv? You can play....for example would people spend as much time on facebook and instagram if you could only do from computer.
That's why everyone is addicted...more access 24/7......allllllll the time

Also, I think these Anime Legends look great. So far we have Mickey Mantle or as everyone is adopting AniMantle.
They also have Ricky Henderson on the website.
I'm also really intrigued by this Faces of the Franchise spin on TA. Acuna is a great start to the collection.
Lastly, I can't wait to find out about Randy. If he's not in the game, these boards will be on

I'm not sure I like the Acuna Choice for faces of the franchise though. Should be like MLB 20 was were they were upgrades to the live series version. All the mlb 20 TA1 FOTF cards had gold or lower live series cards at launch. This acuna will be worse than the live series. Fried or Albies would have been better IMO

In 20, TA1 was active players example Olson, Gallo, Gleyber Torres. TA3 was legends though

All the reviews I have read are lukewarm at best.
The RTTS review I read today was not complimentary at all.
Cut and paste, a few new bells and whistles, and that's about it.
I think the folks who play every year would love to see a total revamp of the hitting interface in lieu of a few new cards.
