That whole co-op mode is gonna be so messy. I swear, SDS is just throwing stuff out there (like stadium creator last year) to say they have "New Modes", but they're just half-baked. It'll be 2-3 years before co-op is refined.

Yeah, have fun dealing with an unplayable game. And if they do actually get this to work; have fun with people teaming up and boosting stats.

If their servers are bad with 1v1, could you imagine servers in 2v2 or 3v3 and what going to happen if someone quits, is someone going to join in or going to be like NBA 2k where the ai takes over

The server situation last year had me swearing like a sailor at all those error messages. With another console platform added, they better have their servers beefed up to handle the traffic, or they're in for a world of PR pain.

I'm shocked they added switch AND co-op. They're going for too much at once. I'm afraid gameplay changes have taken a back seat.

I don’t think it will be a DD mode, but more like a separate mode where you use existing teams to play your friends.

Nope, there will be a DD element to the game mode. Polygon reported on it. The question is: can you play 2vCPU or 3vCPU

Unless you're only playing with your friends, this seems like it will be pretty terrible lol. There's gonna be so many trolls and people screwing around, bad connections, lag, disconnects... They need dedicated servers before this even has a chance to go well.

It seems a pretty obvious attempt to “add features/value” without actually doing anything at all about the actual gameplay.
I’m not surprised, but this doesn’t bode well for anyone hoping for anything but another reskin of the same game.

I think playing against trolls will be more entertaining now with a buddy on my side. I’m all for this co-op. It may fail, but I like that it’s starting somewhere and happy to give it a chance.

That may be true, but just imagine how much dashboarding will happen in this mode. If you thought people were quick to leave when they were the one controlling what's happening, imagine how fast they'll leave when their teammate gives up a Homer, or has a 1 2 3 inning at the plate. It'll end up being a 1v1 by the end lol.
Plus there's no way the servers will be able to handle 6 people at once when they can barely handle 2 right now lol. I really do hope that it turns out great, but it seems like SDS is getting in way over their heads with this mode.

People probably want to try it, but idk how this could be anyone's go-to game mode. Ppl quitting / sabotaging their own team is gonna happen way too often. They're just trying to be like the park in NBA 2K.
Agreed, I don't think many ppl were begging for this.
