As a Braves fan I am hoping for a 19 inning game that depletes the pitching staff of the team that wins, haha.
Lol, is that because you know 18 inn isnt enough? https://www.espn.com/mlb/game/_/gameId/251009118
Astros went on to beat the Cardinals in the NLCS after that long game.
I remember that, lol, not a good memory. Joey Divine was supposed to be our closer of the future and that walkoff homer ruined him, he never recovered.

One of the few memories I have of the Astros getting past the Braves. Think the Braves eliminated the Astros twice in 3 years in the late 90's. And then again in 2001.
Now I know how the Yankees feel when they play the Astros.

We actually beat them in the NLDS in 1997, 1999 and 2001. They beat us in 2004 and 2005 at the end of our run.

Yeah that was a hell of a run. Astros just made their 5th straight LCS, so I looked up what the longest streak was, and the only longer one was.... of course, the Braves in the 90's with 8. Astros enjoying the AL much better than the NL lol.

Yeah, I was 12 in 1991 when our streak happened. We should have won more World Series, but I was pretty lucky. From the time I was 12 to 26 my team was in the playoffs every year and got to watch 4 hall of fame players and a hall of fame manager.

At this stage I feel that the Braves are the only team I can actually root for.
When my favorite team is out(Tigers), I tend to root for the team that has the least recent world series win(other than NYY), so the Braves are definitely who I'm rooting for as well

Hey, you will probably have Verlander and Correa next year. Just my opinion of course. Reasons are: I think JV finished his career in Detroit with AJ Hinch and if the Tigers can pony up the money I can see Correa joining AJ Hinch as well.
Side note my favorite away and home jerseys right now are the Tigers.

Well I can’t root for either AL team and idc what card comes from that series. Not putting a sux player or a trastro in my line up. As for the NL I’d like to see the Braves
No kidding man. The 2017 cheaters va the 2018 cheaters lol

I would love it if the Dodgers won, it hopefully be Astros VS Dodgers again, but it'll be fair, no cheating.

I legitimately believe the tigers can make a run at the playoffs next year with correa and Verlander+ the call ups of Tork and Greene. Cheating aside Hinch is one of the best managers in the league, plus the Tigers had a winning record(39-36) against teams over .500. When is the last time a sub .500 team had a winning record against superior opponents? There is no way that happens very often

Yeah, especially in that division. And yeah, the Tigers clapped the Astros this year in their few meetings. I remember that lol.

Nats fan here so definitely agree with this….stole two marquee guys from us too.
Playing through the event over the weekend, bellinger became probably the fastest parallel card for me thus far. Got him to IV at something like 623.
Earned Henderson already, it would seriously consider continuing to keep using him.

Yeah I saw that. Think Montreal would have ran away that year. But who knows. Braves were still good too.
-
I might as well just root for the Giants.
My only reason to root for the Dodgers was the hope I'd get a juiced Postseason Corey Seager (favorite swing in the game).
But now apparently, Seager is just awful.
And I have a better chance of being elected president of Djibouti than Seager getting a Postseason card.
-
I strongly dislike all of the remaining teams except for the Braves lol. So I guess I'm a Braves fan for the rest of the playoffs
-

94 would have been the 1st year of the wild card, which we would have been. I believe we had the 2nd best record in the NL so we would have had a chance at the NLCS that year to.

It didn't help he was rushed to the majors. I can't remember the last time Braves brought up a guy so quickly right after drafting him. I think that was the real downfall.
