"The Double" is the most celebrated play in Mariner's history so I was excited to see that as the daily moment.
Very first at bat, I hit a double down the left field line, just like Edgar did it 1995, but
Griffey, JrJake Fraley stayed at 3B!
Another attempt, same thing, but then they made a throwing error which got
Griffey, JRFraley in for the win!

Griffey, JRFraley in for the win! I hit a single and scored the first run and was thinking, alright one more single. And then It failed me and I realized.....oh right, it's THE Edgar double. That's why it's good to read the description haha.

I was pretty sure that is what 99.997% of the people are going to need to get the moment done. I just got lucky with a throwing error to get Fraley home.

Classic lame moment. Ken Griffey jr is in the game. Why is Jake Fraley at first?
It would be super cool to face Black Jack McDowell, but no, we are facing Nestor Cortes jr, a lefty, and of course, this Edgar has 69 power vs left (another joke because, as far as I can tell Edgar hit .302 and slugged .547 career vs L).
Joey Cora is not a third base, the uniforms are wrong, it’s not in the Kingdome…
As pointed out above, you know the game will not send Fraley on anything so why bother attempting to recreate this “moment”? Just make the moment hit a home run with Edgar or something, not like that is much easier.

It’s insane that Griffey isn’t the runner at 1st for this. He literally had a SNES game named for this play.

Took me a few tries but got it. I hit the ball down the left field line and Fraley scored from first just like how we drew it lolx. I thought the cpu was going to stop Fraley at third, but Fraley kept running and scored. Kinda sucks that Edgars power so low against lefties and putting the ball into the outfield sucks lolx.

Here is the real problem with this moment --- in the Real moment off Jack McDowell who is a RH and in this BS moment it's a lefty and the Edgar card is weak on lefties so SDS what the heck are you doing ?

Actually, the real problem(s) were when, after 6 attempts, I quit playing it. This, and the outages last night were the 'last straw' and the reason why I'm not playing this game anymore.
And before anyone says 'git gud'; here are the results from my 6 'attempts':
- Fraley gets picked off taking a lead BEFORE one single pitch is thrown.
- Cortes throws the first pitch so far inside that he hits the batter.
- I hit a line drive down the first base line but Fraley stops at second.
- I hit a line drive down the third base line but Fraley stops at third.
- Cortes throws four straight pitches so low and inside that my player jumped out of the way all four times.
- I CRUSH a Perfect/Perfect shot off a gaming curve all but Gallo jumps and Rob's the homerun.

️️All good, buddy. I actually got it probably fourth try. Somehow, I hit the ball into CF and Fraley/junior scored.
I just think these moments should stick to stuff more current. The IDEA of these retro ones is great but without the stadium, pitcher, position players, uniforms, handedness of pitcher, baserunner,etc etc, there is very little connection to the original historical moment.
