Nice HOF game just now. Game playing like dog [censored]

Again, I could give a [censored] less about the loss. 12 innings, 8 hits combined, I struck out 16 times opponent 19. Game ended on a seeing eye ground ball. He threw Lee Smith for 3 innings but he was still pumping 99 on the corner. I physically couldn't react to the pitches. I had more reaction time facing Percival throwing 97 in the minors. This is not fun.
Played on HOF last night and actually had time to react. I guess my internet just went bad in 24 hours. The lag in this game is atrocious. No chance east coast players are dealing with these pitch speeds. Guess I'll head over to PUBG because today this game is a waste of time. Literally pitcher's hand to glove in .2 seconds. You can't humanly react that quick. I don't care how many red bulls you've drank.
Again, this has nothing to do with the loss. I have lost almost 90 games.

. You have valid points but even coast players experience what you’re seeing. The servers in general are just very laggy. You get some good games and some bad ones. -

On top of what you are explaining I feel like there are even games when one side has a better connection.

Ive resorted to restarting my console and making sure my controller is 100 percent prior to every game.

You get some good games and some bad ones.They do but I watch a high level east coast streamer a lot. He says he can't react to a pitch every once in a while. These are whole games I am seeing. Blows my mind that I can go to custom practice and turn on 100 most times and then can't even react. I was getting blown away by 95 in the event today but needed to finish. I should not be getting blown away by 95 on all star.
Saw a twitch streamer tonight get off the game because he was seeing the same thing. I don't know if it is match making or what. I had several laggy opponents disconnect. Why am I matching up against these people would be my question. I would rather wait a few minutes and get a good game that be instantly connected to a bad connection.

I’m an older guy so I know my reflexes aren’t what they once were. But the game truly does play differently from one opponent to the next. The only thing consistent about this game is the inconsistency. A game that relies on timing really should strive for something better than what we have.

I play with the Philly's Hof batting legend pitching online rated mostly but play a little DD . Trying to get into DD . Yesterday I played well for me in online rated and then played two online ranked season games on all star and couldn't hit anything lol.
Again I'm not very good and new to the show but I find it odd that I batt better on hof then all star.

I played a Hof game recently where I struck out 24 times and my opponent struck out 32. It went 13 innings. At the end of 9, it was 0-0. And we each had 3 hits. I honestly think I’m just going to start quitting out on games like that. I never quit games, but it was such a surreal experience that I don’t particularly want to relive.

Connection in this game is everything. I’ve been saying it for a few years now. Without dedicated servers and relying on peer to peer this is what we get unfortunately.

Sometimes you just need people to quit playing the game until no-one plays it. No problems. Those XBOX passes or whatever, these servers should teach them from buying the game!!!
No updates are ever needed in this game. MLB 21 will be different from others where no-one gives a [censored] about [censored] hat gameplay.

Oh yeah. Sometimes I play and I can’t touch 95, other games 102 is easy to hit. It’s definitely connection. I normally don’t strikeout a ton and one game awhile back I struck out like 19 times to a guy throwing 95 and even on the ones down the middle I’d miss.

Swinging on release and still "Very Late" it's 1 or 2 decent days then back to garbage!
