I don't know what other peoples experience with this game is like and I don't mean servers but it's the absolute worst game I have ever played and by a massive amount that's not even a exaggeration!

Are we sure that SDS has not become an EA affiliate? This is the kind of nonsense that has lost EA their reputation.

Yeah this is a deal breaker for me personally and I probably will not be going to buy another mlbts. It's slowly taking steps into EA territory and I don't buy EA games anymore haven't since 2018.

I thing what he’s referring to about ping has a lot of merit. And I do think people are having different experiences with this game. Do most of the games you play run smoothly, or are most of them where the pitches seem like they’re going 200 mph?

So you are telling me these content creators are hitting .400 seeing the speeds I see? No chance. We are not all seeing the same speeds. Just as some games you can turn on 102 and others you are getting blown away with 93.

People that are hitting .400 are having the games they can turn on 102 all the time. I would hit .400 if I saw those games all the time. I have tried wired, wireless (5g), mobile hot spot and even 2g while streaming netflix. Same result for each one. I wouldn't mind it happening every once in a while. It is every game now. I don't know if maybe less people are playing and the match making is expanding, bad opponent internet connections. No idea but this has been a problem for years they obviously haven't figured out.

I think a huge part of what you’re experiencing has to do with pitchers confidence. It’s super important to get out to a fast start in terms of hitting and making pitcher throw pitches. Once you get one of these top pitchers with full confidence that’s when it really feels like there’s nothing you can do but try to guess right.

Think I done it on mlbts 20 and spent maybe 500 on 21. Its not worth it and I dont mean moneywise. It just leaves you with little to do long term. The only thing its good for is getting a good DD off the bat and you can flip cards for profit quicker because you have a ton of stubs. That said pretty sure there will be yet another stub glitch as always.

Not buying this years but if you dont have the time to play alot and have the cash go for it otherwise wouldnt reccomend doing it personally.

Last edition I hit a HR that never even hit the railings. It landed on the warning track and was announced 350ft hr. The game went into the HR animation but the camera was still focussed on the ball laying there on the track whilst neither me ir my opponent could control anything. And no it never bounced off a wall or anything as such and came back in I still have the vid.

What do you need help with exactly? If it's hitting a pitch right down the middle nobody can help you that is impossible!

If you have things like a good monitor and kontrol freaks and good inet connection. The absolute best thing to do is put the slider pitch speed up to max or 1 notch off max and practice and forget about online right now.

There is loads of hitting and to a lesser degree pitching tutorials on yt just search hitting tips mlb 21 and take your pick.

No matter where I look, on this forum or youtube or Operations sports, this game collectively has by far the most causal players ever!. Your playing on what hitting difficulty offline with sliders up full for pitch speeds ect?

I kinda agree with what your saying I gave up online in the 3rd or so inning because the freeze offs and general garbage connections to my opponents.

Offline sliders up is consistently more difficult than playing online opponents atleast below 1000 rating. That said offline is still boring af i have been playing franchise several if them its just dull.

I do wish though they'd do more with offline because playing DD is a drag too and has me not wanting to play it anytime soon like years from now.

Casually walking back to 3b when the pitcher throws out because he thinks runner on 1st is gonna steal yet he throws to 3b and hes out. That is the most annoying thing that's happened to me plus when I hit a clear double to centre field the runner casually slowed walked to 2nd only for the 1b man running over to cover second tagged him.

I hate using wifi to play but honestly worked better for this game when I played it. More disconnects yes but hardwired alot more freezes no win situation.

PS No longer play this game since March.

Contact swing and terrible matchmaking killed this game for me haven't played in months and get more satisfaction reading about people complaining about this game knowing I don't deal with it anymore.

Contact is even more so broken if your the away team and the connection is not good.
