Are any of the pre-order 42 cards worth playing with?

I picked Babe Ruth out of the pack I got with the game and he's great as always. Parallel 5 gets him to something like 100/100 contact and power and he always has a great swing and plays 1B too. If you need a 1B, I highly recommend him.

For some reason I hit well with those that most people don't. Bagwell is another example.

I think for long term usability Id look at the pitchers (Mo, Pedro). You need 5 starters and what is it… 8 bullpen arms? So adding more depth in those positions would give you the most usability. All of the position players are pretty outdated at this point with TAs and such unless you need a temporary fill in at a certain position or a bench bat.

I have Yordan as my first lefty off the bench and Niko (Parallel 5) is on my bench but doesn't see a ton of time.

I would never use any of the 42 cards now for actual RS. Much better options now at all positions.

Riveria is decent.
Not as good as the 99 one.

I still use Babe Ruth at 1st, Griffey is a bench bat and both of them are parallel V.
If you hit good with the cards who cares. I use the same people every year due to liking their swing better than other guys. -

Frank and Giffey both have great swings and hit above their weight for me.

I just got to V Griffey and he hasn't left my lineup since the beginning. Granted only played 14 ranked games, but have always loved Griffey, and this year has been no different. With the plethora of OF of course better options, but Griffey's been a day 1.

I'm currently using 42 Hank in RF, got 42 Yordan on the bench for PH and both 42 Pedro/Gibson in the rotation (Although I think I just took Gibson out).
42 Hank is kind of at the end of his time though as I'm getting some better cards and need to start trying them out instead.

Willie Mays definitely! Decent hitting and he gets to everything in the outfield I’ve had a few robberies as well. Definitely a good player compared to the others in the pack

I didn't preorder the game, so I need all the ones that aren't available in the Team Affinity programs to complete Jackie....

Now would be the best time. These cards are the lowest they've been since the first few weeks thanks to the 42 pack in the POTM program. Yesterday all the card were like 29k for Sell now and right now they are starting to slowly climb back up as some are at 31-32k.

I'm still using Babe and Griffey in my main lineup. The ability to upgrade these cards through parallel has been a welcome addition. It allows so many more cards to have extended life.
