Tied 2-2 going into the 11th I cough up a run on a bloop hit with the infield in. Down 3-2 in the bottom, I move the runner over via ground out, Jackie gets a hit up the middle. HBP and my prize 200K stub Story Walks it off to get me my WS win with a HR. Finally made it to WS
My Kershaw memories in the playoffs tend to be the bullpen letting runners score such as today. By no means is he lights out, but let's also realize such as in 2019 he got his one out of the bullpen there is no need to have him return after he retires his one batter. I remember Baez coming in and blowing it after or like Brusdar today coughing up runners on base. My next question would be is Mike Trout an all time great because he's 1-10 in postseason and can't even get there or Degrom who has a 7.20 era in one WS start in his only postseason appearance? We can punish Kershaw for all the blow ups but he's also had more chances than someone like Degrom or Trout.
Clayton Kershaw looks 12-6
Grind out some Run it Back stuff that might help get the stub count up too

Thank you for the in depth pros and cons that's super helpful!
I haven't because 1. I haven't pulled a lot of them. 2. When I did pull someone like Cole or Degrom they were selling for a lot so I had just sold them. I kind of regret it but I also got MVP Trout done the other day so its all good for me.

@diddyklunk_psn said in Tips for making World Series: I'll just expand on a couple, but as mentioned you definitely want to avoid striking out swinging (easier than said than done I know) but that will always be a huge boost to a pitchers confidence. If you find yourself struggling to take pitches put the controller down, cause if you're like me you get tempted to swing A LOT. Try to keep track of sequences for pitchers since a lot of players use the same ones Something I use to really help is I hit and pitch with the same camera angle because it helps me pick up release points and movement. Lastly and a big one don't panic on good input outs, a perfect perfect line out still means you're on time even though it was an out. Is a strike out swinging different than taking strike three in regards to pitcher momentum/confidence? That is funny that you mention being tempted to swing. I always tell my self Iām not swinging and swing at a dumb pitch like a cutter in.

I'm pretty sure, I know taking strikes boosts confidence less than swinging strikes do.
And I feel that, those sinkers in, I call it and it comes and then I swing away and wiff or pop out to first.
I've never struck out looking so much, those fastballs just get painted.
Kershaw for me as a Dodgers fan because I'm curious to see what card they give him since Milestones have been added. I doubt they have the rights but a Second half Sabathia would be amazing. And for Hitters the 99 Foxx is one I'm waiting for.

I skipped Monthly awards.
For those of you who make deep BR runs like 9-12 wins. Do you do it all in one sitting or do you space it out over days? Also do you always play till you lose 2 or do you restart after a loss? I'm looking to try and play more BR so looking for any extra tips.
2B Finest Trea RF Griffey SS Tatis LF Soto CF Trout 1B Freeman C Foxx 3B Crawford
Bench: Winker, Rosario, Frank Thomas, Arenado, Ruth
SP: Kershaw, Arrieta, Kluber, Buehler, Morton RH RP: Gossage, Jansen, Dibble, Treinen, Gagne LH RP: Miller, Wagner, Loup
I already got my Trea from the last event, but is it safe to say he will probably stay at a million stubs since he is now only available in the event pack?

Don't play only your God squad. There are enough great players for a dozen or more different God squads. He is in one of my 6 lineups at 2nd. Create a new new roster and he can be your team captain.
Oh I get that, he's going to be in a lot of line ups I use I was just asking for my God squad
Where is everyone playing him? Right now I have
C : Foxx 1B: Ruth 2B: Betts SS: Tatis 3B:Freeman LF:Tucker CF: Griffey RF: Soto
I do plan on getting trout to replace Tucker so IDK where to put Turner
I'm curious as to how often you check the game? (I'm assuming you play on a monitor)A couple weeks ago I got into one that started like an hour before the Dodger playoff game and then it ended about an hour into the game, I was checking like every half inning or so.
Now that we are at toward the end of the baseball season, is playing the game on the PS5 better than the PS4?
Felix is pretty good, and then I also found Logan Webb to be great as well.
Has anyone tried to throw a bullpen game at all? WIth starters throwing like 130 pitches per game I was thinking about trying one. Has anyone had success?
