Well sir, I Iike the game of baseball. Offline plays like baseball. Online is horrible and always has been. Elephant pace pitch speeds, horrible lag and participation trophies. Not to mention rng.

Just play offline. At least you wont have to deal with the kindergarten pitch speeds.
No pci is cool..I've tried it all, down to diff cam modes.. Dont remember and not on right now, personally I feel the pci actually cause you to lose focus! Especially during some tough tense moments against the real skill players Had the fortune of playing some from this forum..No PCI just let's you use that hand eye coordination like you would in real life Believe it or not and maybe this is just me but hitting is easier without it. Leads me to say this , played an event last night and dude teed off my 1st to pitches..Hit him with some nasty off speeds and realized hes using directional. If they come across this post or anyone like the rook, online DD and good comp will eat you alive..Still took him in 3.Mantle with the ! point HR to win it..Humble "Woooooo"

Real men don't go to a online gaming forum to complain about how they aren't good enough at a video game to use the best option at hitting to come and complain. By the way.. you can use PCI and still play like a real man with a clear batting view. Oh and by the way... Real men try to adapt and get better.. not give up. I hope you don't have kids you're setting a bad example

It really sounds like you're complaining about your own aesthetic preference. Some people hit better without seeing the pci. Some don't. It isn't more complex than that, and it doesn't need to be.
If someone is going to complain about slow pitch speeds online compared to offline, then they clearly aren't good enoigh to make it past the lower difficulties. When comparing HOF or legend pitch speeds, offline is an absolute joke in comparison to online pitch speeds, and it always has been.

All in good fun nerds, but We really need a major update for this game. Things aren't right as usual, but I'm sure it will be fixed.

Random Number Generator. When you make contact opposing stats are calculated as well as contact number (PCI placement basically) and then generates a number which influences what hit type you get.
