    I put the code in first and then installed the PS4 version and I still cannot get the PS5 version.

    Are there step for step instructions for installing? It would seem to me that you would put the codes in after you download the game, but if the installs says otherwise.

    When I tried to download it it ended up downloading the beta instead for the ps5 version

    Got my disk and got home. Seems to be just installing the ps5 version automatically. So nvm about my post above. Guess this just effects people with the ps4 version.

    I can only suggest one thing cause SDS or Sony cannot fix this HUGE bug, cause thats what it really is a flaw that can only be fixed by SDS studios. Huge mistake putting both games on 1 disc. What i suggest is return the Jackie Robinson disc and exchange it for the PS5 standard, redeem your Jackie entitlements first and your retailer should be able to let you exchange the disc with a $15 difference cause your buying the ps5 version which is $10 more but they will let u keep the hat😉

    Same here, I put the disc and can't download the PS5 version, when I'm in the hub it says "PS5/FULL/BETA TECH TEST" but when I downloaded it it only gave me the beta and not the full game. I don't know what to do and this is really annoying

    Yes, just click on the 3 dots and there's a menu

    I can't get the PS5 version either, only let me pick the PS4 and PS5 Beta Tech Test. I'm pissed off.

    So far SDS has ignored 3 support tickets I have opened on this issue, so really not inspired that they will do anything. Think they are hoping that everyone will just rebuy the PS5 version and stop bothering them.

    Well since we still had not received any guidance for our issue, I have until today according to my receipt at GameStop to get full refund return. I am taking my JR physical disk back in and switching to the PS5 disk. Likely the best option.

    Physical copy upgrade worked for me, but if unopened, I would recommend returning and just buying digital copy. It is very annoying moving the physical disc between an old ps4 and the new ps5 each time I play. Description says full game download, so didn't think would need the disc constantly.

    Yeah, I don't think a lot of people realize that the disc is still required even if you download the PS5 version.

    I did that but it only gives me the option of full game ps4 or tech test ps5

    I had no issues with the upgrade. The disc had to be in the PS5, when i selected the game icon, i pressed down and on the right was the "Free PS5 Upgrade". Sucks they misled people to believe it would be a full digital download.

    could u give a step by step or some type of way of contact so you can show because i put the code in then i put the disk in and its not giving me that option

    I read somewhere that with ps5 it might have something to do with SSD drive, something about it needed to be removed? Not sure

    This whole thing is completely ridiculous. I have spent about 10 hours with PS support trying to get this figured out and still nothing. I spent 2 hours last night with a "hardware" specialist and they are trying to tell me that it is an issue with my PS5 and that I might have to send it in to get fixed. There is absolutely no way that is happening. I will pay another $100 before I send my PS5 anywhere. I even tried to uninstall and reinstall the game last night and the PS tech hung up and left because their shift was over while it was reinstalling. Still didn't work. No PS5 upgrade. Does anyone have an answer to this?

    Nope. I am in same boat. SDS support asked me one question through my ticket and then... radio silence.

    According to EBgames they cant refund me because the problem is coming from Sony. (And I want the hat)
    According to Sony (I just called them) they cant do anything because the code voucher came through SDS. And I must contact them.

    Already did many times.

    According to the girl @Sony's tech support, SDS will not answer us at all until the problem is fixed.

    I have been playing the show since 2008. I feel betrayed.

    Same boat here. My son has a ps4, I have a ps5. I thought if we bought the JR Edition, we could play on both. Turns out, you'll need the disc in the ps5. No big deal. We put the disc in the PS5 and the only option is the PS4 edition game. Even after redeeming the code, the extras work, but no PS5 upgrade. I tried deleting and starting new, no luck.
    Has anyone returned an opened game to Walmart? I'd like to take this JR edition back and just get the standard edition on disc for both the ps4 and ps5.

    **Update: I was able to return the JR edition to Walmart, even though it was opened. At first the CS Rep said I needed to exchange for the same one, but since it wasn't in stock, I was able to get a ps4 and ps5 version instead. I just needed to add the extra $$.
