Is online rated in 21?

Have they shown the actual game home screen with the game modes in any of their videos and if so is online rated coming back? I don't think they would remove this mode but who knows. I'd like to confirm before and if I buy the game.

No way they remove online rated but I guess it's possible. I just can't see that being removed

They removed online franchise and now custom leagues so nothing surprises me. But if they remove online rated that would leave DD the only online option of playing besides playing people on your friends list.

Not necessarily. It might just mean there aren’t any changes to the mode.

Custom League will be in the game. It's tied to DD and they dedicated resources to build it.
For god's sake, they added custom stadiums...

So everything they have covered in the streams have just gone over changes to certain modes/aspects of ‘21? I haven’t seen all of every stream....I didn’t realize that was the case-hopefully that’s why no mention of custom leagues then....

Let's code for cross platform friends for MLB...
Let's remove DH then and eliminate Custom League (currently the only option for DD cards as a DH).

Because custom leagues are an aspect of Diamond dynasty. It’s not a separate mode. The Diamond dynasty stream is the thursday after next Thursday.

Not if there were not any changes to the mode worthy of listing it.
Anything is possible but it's lack of inclusion in the streaming schedule is not a indication that it is not it the game.

You can create your own and/or download from the vault that others have created and posted. But you cannot use base game team uniforms, however you can use the colors of MLB teams.

They did briefly i think when they talked about the 3 types of gameplay i think. But again that has always been part of basegame. Couldn't tell if you were being sarcastic or not.

yeah i didn't agree with how they handled that but i didn't play OFM it didn't effect me but i did feel bad for those that were expecting it. -

Remember you have mlb style custom leagues also which make them no money. Or it could be that offline franchise and DD are the two biggest modes played which is why they're focusing on those two.

I don't think it has to do with money this year honestly. I think all modes that were there last year will be here this year.
With more players from xbox and the fact they have basically set new Foundations for RTTS,Franchise, and MTO for future versions of the game.
Stadium Creator was the big splash so to to speak this year so far DD Stream still to come. I think they will take data at some point to determine where funding goes in future. DD is a money maker yes but it is not neccasary to spend money to enjoy mode. Just my thoughts.
I think alot of the stuff they did this year leads to future additions of game. For instance: The Player/Trade logic opens it up for OFM in future. Ballplayer creation with idea of setting different loadouts/2 way player RTTS and possibly sets it up for COOP. And MTO is already tied to TA and Franchise Offline so additions to that is a plus! So that covers all modes people play and covers all modes people are asking for. Just a theory I could be way off base! (no pun intended)
