How do normal people get a PS5

There isn’t any good games yet on ps5. It’s all mostly ports. No point in stressing to try and get one

Hotstock seems to be best way, I'm getting alerts, but have not had an opportunity to pull trigger, mostly due to being out of stock before I can get there, but I have high hopes I'll land one soon, long before 21 drops.

Got one today during the Target drop. Followed some of the trackers on Twitter. They had tips and notices when the drops were likely to happen. Didn’t put any effort in until the past couple days and snagged one already. Suppose I’m lucky. Watching Twitter was the key for me.

I got mine from target, but my friend went to Walmart’s online store and somehow got 3 so try Walmart

Another tip for store pick up options at Walmart, Best Buy, or target is don’t be afraid to drive a couple hours. My local target, in a more populated town, was sold out instantly but the store about an hour south, in no mans land, had multiple so I snagged two.
Just keep up with a lot of what these guys are saying though. Peep Twitter a few times a day and be persistent. It’s not too much effort and in the end it is soooo worth it. Good luck!

I got mine by following Matt Swider @TechRadar on Twitter and allowing notifications on my Twitter Android app.
He pushed out a notification that GameStop was selling and so went to the GameStop app and actually got it. I am still shocked that it worked out tbh.

Somebody in my discord mentioned it on Jan 8th at 6 est. I logged into my GS account on my phone at 6:34 and a bundle purchased in less than 5 minutes. Random and lucky AF.

I got a digital and disc ps5 at target yesterday and 2 weeks ago. The secret is follow the guy on Twitter who alerts you on drops, stay in one store and spam check out button. First one took 4 minutes of spamming button, yesterday took 20 minutes.

My wife got lucky and scored one through Walmart on the app. The trick is once you can get an "add to cart button" don't let it go away. Walmart drops theirs in 10 minute windows so say you miss at 3:10 pm but have an add to cart button. Keep it to where you still have the add to cart and as soon as it hits 3:20 be ready to spam. The only downside to walmart right now is even if you do score one its about 3 weeks out on shipping. I hit on Feb 4 and didn't receive until Feb 24 which was actually ahead of my scheduled delivery of March 3.

You'll get one shortly. I used HotStock since I didn't have a Twitter account but I do think Twitter is better for the PS5 alerts.

Disc version. They're not releasing as many digi's.

I used offerup. Paid about $200 more for the disc version back in December. Tried watching twitter for the alerts, but those [censored] bots beat me to it every time.
