Was it just me, or was there a surprising lack of actual gameplay footage in the gameplay trailer?
The in depth gameplay will be in the weekly videos. But there was quite a bit of shots that showed off alot of new gameplay. Divng catches, throw outs, off wall catches i saw quite a few personally.
Prior to covid day of launch was usually 8 -10 hours of gameplay from dev tourney, but unfortunately no tourney this year.
@Collin_SDS Since no Dev tourney this year, Is it possible to get some CPU vs CPU games to watch on launch day possibly? Pretty please?

This trailer reminded me that the first thing I want to do when I start up the game is mute the soundtrack. I am definitely not the demographic that they have been targeting with the soundtracks for the last few years.

SDS can you please fix ohtani’s appearance to make him have team color 1 sleeves and not black. For the entirety of spring training he’s worn team color 1 rather than black and I really hope this is fixed before launch. Thanks

I don't mean this in a way to sound condisending and it seems you are pretty knowlegable about game. If you like music while you play you can upload your favs into game and even assign them to certain players. Wasn't sure if you knew that or not.

Yeah, I know and I usually do that (classic Rock) but currently don't have any songs on the PS5 yet. In 20 though I I just went with no music. With the faster load times on the PS5 no music may be an option with Spotify as a backup when I do want music.

I’m still confused .....was the new trailer next gen ? It just says captured on next gen hardware. That could mean PS4 played on next gen consoles too.?

Will we get 1080p at 120 frames per second on PS5? I know we can do 4k 60 fps.

This is not “next gen”. You won’t get a next gen game until they stop allowing cross generation play. I hope everyone understands that and doesn’t get their hopes up on a huge upgrade. This “stadium creator” they are trying to sell people on has been in sports titles for almost 2 decades.

I just got the ps5 and have a 4K tv... will it automatically play in 4K with the hdmi cord Sony provided or do I need a new hdmi cord or a certain setting for it?

There were a lot of full stands (especially in places you don't normally see full stands, like Rogers, Camden, Miami, and the upper deck at Safeco). And the Dodgers trophy celebration was NOT socially distanced (looking at you, Justin Turner!).
For the love of God, we do not need to hear anything about Covid!
Video games are an escape from all the [censored] in the world, especially the [censored] of Covid.
