RP/CP Energy Needs to be Adjusted in 21
-
It doesn't make since for me to use a RP/CP when they are tired after 6 pitches. When they get tired, their pitches hang and they lose command. It never really clicked with me until recently, that this is why I have struggled so mightily with RP's this year. I typically turn a lead over to them and get lit up. I don't want to use starters out of the BP and I haven't, but if the setup is the same next year, I may have to. I don't see why they can't have full energy. Their stamina ratings are already low., so they shouldn't last more than a few innings max. No need to start at a disadvantage.
It's even worse in 3 inning event games.
I'm hoping this simple fix is brought to 21.

9 inn games stamina works as it should. In 3 inning games after 4 pitches Devin williams is in red, shouldnt after 4 pitches
-
It also doesn’t appear to matter much what the stamina actually is, like Goose has 41 compared to the stock 25 but he gets tired faster than most and takes longer to recover for some reason...
-
Not only does reliever stamina need to be addressed, the warm up function needs to be fixed.
There are several glaring issues regarding warm up of relievers. It's highly inconsistent. I can bring in a reliever fully warm and hello be yellow stamina or have low confidence. Sometimes I won't even warm a reliever up and he'll come in full energy and good confidence.
There needs to be a consistent approach in competitive game modes. It's a [censored] shoot and I don't like it at all.
Also, the get loose option out whatever it's called is broken online. It's supposed to stop at 50% warm, but online it'll go full tilt.

The only ones where that matters I feel like are the "long relievers" like Urias and Valdez.

The funny thing about The Show is the more you dissect the mechanisms of the game, the more you realize how many issues there are that are completely overlooked. It's not like things you're mentioning just become issues last year. They've been issues as far back as MLB 14 or 15 at least. If anything, I'd say the stamina issues have gotten worse over the past couple years when they've tried to limit how often you could use someone out of the pen.
It's the little things that make me wish they'd truly look at the game from the ground up. Take some big risks and potentially flop one year trying to really make the game better. That won't happen though because we live in a day and age with video games where you release a product that is good enough, knowing you can "patch" it to keep people around. Imagine The Show coming out back on PS one or two days when the game you got at release was the game you got, bugs and all. They'd either be forced to really make the product better or it would die out within a couple of years since the consumer would stop supporting it.

PSA- Andrew Miller always comes in below 50% confidence in custom league play. Would love to see the programming behind that.

Really? I wonder what is up with that?
-
Honestly, I wouldn't mind seeing more long relief type pitchers, if that is the route they want to go.
Part of me wonders if this was an intentional way to do energy to limit the amount of people who would use an opener strategy. It would be tough facing guys with 125 H/9 all game long.

Ya but if you used an opener it would at most be for only two innings so you wouldn't be facing guys like that all game. Just the first inning or two.

His self-esteem attribute is very low.

I haven't warmed up pitchers in months. I have failed to see much, if any difference to when I would warm them up in the pen.
-
it should make some sort of sense for a pitcher getting tired. i played a guy who warmed up his pitcher from the 2nd inning never sat him down and it didnt have any effect
-
Reliever energy is good. You shouldn’t be able to pitch most set up or closer relievers more then an inning or 2

I’m not saying you should be able to use guys that long. I’m saying, they shouldn’t get tired after 3 pitches. The 94 overall Wagner card is a perfect example of this. He is tired after one batter every time. Once their stamina gets lower, their pitches hang more. Makes more sense to bring in a second starter instead. I don’t, but it does make sense.
