No contracts, no training, and only one in game currency! It’s a beautiful thing

If no applause for beating the Yankees, how about just applaud that he’s 5-0 with a 1.35 ERA, 38 strikeouts while only giving up 26 hits (40 innings), has an absurd ERA+ of 355!! And somehow hasn’t surrendered a HR all year. Crazy year he’s having...
Totally agree with OP. I really don’t like that you can lose the whole thing before the final battle. The CPU defense is just super human and absolutely absurd, diving catches, robbing HR’s, etc. still has a ton of potential, but desperately needs tuning, very similar to the opening moments from ‘19. I just hope they act quickly and adjust things
I’m convinced that as is, I will never beat a showdown. I see online that many people have no issues at all, and that’s great for them, but I seriously have no chance. These to me seem significantly harder than moments extreme from ‘19.

Yeah, I feel the same way. I have been eliminated at all 3 eliminations multiple times. It is worse than frustrating. Moments suck, but showdown is horrible.
4 days into the game and I’m ready to find a different game. Can’t overstate how disappointed this is, I was looking forward to the show for months...
For me Johnson is far easier to hit out of the stretch than if I have to watch that horrendous wind up. My advice is try to take as many pitches early as you can and get a walk and then light him up, just way easier to see the ball out of the stretch for me anyways. I’d even not take sac flies if it meant clearing the bases and him going back to the windup
I’ve probably done the conquest map 15-20 times, never stealing. But I do play 6 turns before taking the white Sox, get territories all the way to the Yankees so at minimum you’re getting 5 per turn and you shouldn’t have to play on anything higher than All-Star. Also, if you choose your 4th starter for the Sox and your 5th starter for every other game you only face lefty starters, so just load up the lineup with righties and it’s a super easy and casual way to make stubs. One of my favorite programs of the whole year tbh

I’d love to see a Kitchen Sink 3, but there’s no mention of such a release to the best of my knowledge
Can’t believe we’re dealing with this trash in June!
Since we’re likely in the 92-94ovr range, and it’s a prime card, I think we could be looking at folks like Saberhagen, Orlando Hernandez, Cole Hamels, Dennis Martinez, or a decent amount of relievers in the same range
He’s probably exclusively contact swinging, there’s much more leniency for check swings when you use a contact swing. It needs to be patched imo
My RTTS crashed three times, couldn’t make it through a series without it crashing. Not playable at the moment
If you’re worried about this, I’d suggest not locking in any cards for a team until you’re ready to finish that collection, that way if someone gets moved you don’t lock in a FA. They can also get moved to a different collection if there is a trade, often teams will be easier or harder to complete around the trade deadline because they traded away or acquired a Diamond player. Best way is to just not lock in cards until you have them all for that team and lock them all in at once. Once the team is complete, it’s complete forever.

Agree on this. I use a pitcher view when pitching, but have wondered if I should just change to strike zone for pitching and get used to it. I've switched a little bit this year to try it out and it seems like the meter/analog acts a little differently (quicker) when pitching from a hitting view. Maybe I just read it better from the pitching view because you can see your pitcher better in the windup.
Is there a benefit to pitch from a hitting view?
Some players say that pitching from a view like StrikeZone helps them be better hitters because they’re seeing more total pitches and can track the ball better based off that experience
