Been using Foxx who I crush the ball with, but might move him to 3B. I’m between Pudge, finest JT, and finest Salvy. What do y’all think?
JT's contact can hurt you when u go for a WS/HOF run. It really could. If u cherish defense, Pudge is your guy. If you like a balanced dude, most certainly pick up Salvy.
My choice would be Salvy out of those 3Thanks for the insight man!

In all star JT is a beast. But as mentioned above, Salvy is the man when playing HOF, gold defense with a good arm and has a great swing

No problem Bro!

Salvador Perez crushes the ball. He hits everything hard!
-
I really enjoyed using all three you're considering. I think Salvy is my fav of the bunch. easy prestige too.
-
I wanted to like Pudge but his lack of power makes him, generally, an easy out. I don’t fear him at all when I face him either.
Perez is an absolute stud.
I found with JT that I prestiged him pretty easily, but never felt like I got much out of him. He did most of his damage on a few games. Had a 4 hr game and a 3 hr game with him. The problem though, was that he had so many games where he didn’t do much of anything.
-
Salvy and once you prestige him he is unreal
-
I liked both salvy and pudge..pudge for me has played way above his power attributes, and the run game against me is basically shut down

Salvy was the first "Finest" card I prestiged, and he hasn't left my lineup since.
-
Another vote for Salvy. Pudge is crushing for me in the current event but even with all that he won't unseat Perez in my lineup,
-
Yup. Salvy is the man.
-
Ironically, I've had Sal let a bucnh of balls go by lately... for whatever reason Foxx has been solid for me. Pudge swings a pool noodle for me. has enough power to line out consistently. My only hits with Pudge tend to be just late oppo field gappers or nothing.
Personally I think Pudges speed helps cause for me he hits below his numbers. Torre is an underrated do it all option that cal also play 3rd, Biggio's speed and bunting ability is a plus and Pablo has had some streaky good runs for me. I still think Foxx is the best option with Posey and, Pudge, and Finest Sal just below. Then Weiters, Pablo, Biggio and Torre.
-
Perez is the best overall/ balances option but I cant stand how slow he runs. He has the unfortunate ability to stretch a double into a long single. JT is a power beast though and he has speed. For several stretches he was much better than Perez. For a while I was using Foxx with Pudge on the bench as a defensive replacement. This was my favorite setup although it used up a bench spot. If you ran up against a bunt heavy guy or steals heavy just sub in Pudge and he shuts it down. You can either sub out Foxx then or move Foxx to 1st or 3rd and take out one of those guys for Pudge.
-
Man, am I the only person using PS Grandal? He's the only catcher I've been able to hit with. His only flaw is that he's slow as dirt.
-
Doesn’t Grandal have like zero speed?

I’d keep fox at catcher and choose a different 3rd baseman. There’s so many good options for the infield positions.

I loved having Grandal in my lineup, he is hitting .350+ but I had to take him out because he gets thrown out at 2nd on balls hit off the wall.
I routinely intentionally walk Grandal since I know he'll slow up the basepaths. Make the double play easier and get those outfield assists.
