Jackie Robinson Evolution Grind

Jackie's 99 is a good card, but at this point in the game, he's not a top 10 option at any poistion he's eligible to play. If you have Biggio, Hornsby, 98 Mondesi, Finest Betts or Wagner, you're likely to have a better 2b option without the grind of Jackie's evo program.
Seager and Tatis Jr are also much better than Jackie IMO. Lots of options.

I used the Jackie card a ton early on. Even after i replaced him as a starter his speed and bunting were valuable for my bench. I haven’t used him in a while but I don’t remember him being that hard to get and I remember it as being totally worth it.

Moments are a cluster $#%# of randomness. That said stay patient and work counts. You are really doing it for the other rewards but at this point in the game cycle you got El Mago and Kid socks and you can buy batting grip dirt cheap. So realistically you are completing it to say you finished it. I didnt see him in most line ups for the west event 2 weeks ago.

Yeah. I neglected to add those because I'd personally think Tatis is best at as and Seager is best at 3b. But, yes, two more options to easily throw into the mix.

I love SS Jackie, he's on my bench for put the ball in play situations. He hits a surprising amount of bombs for me, too.

I truly enjoyed this card this year but haven't used him since the Postseason Event (he was an excellent lead off hitter for me during the month of October). When his 99 came out this summer he was a great card to use but now there are so many options it may not be worth it - though as others have stated SDS made it easier with the Conquest Map..
-
Just buy the D.J. LeMahieu or Mookie Betts cards on the market to fill your second base slot and save yourself the grind for Jackie.
-
I thought the grind got significantly easier once they added to extra ways to get him in August. I had him on my bench for speed/Swiss army knife but now there are just too many good cards to choose from.
-
I like to have as many free cards as possible, especially if it’s a legend like Jackie. I think it’s definitely worth it for you to get it done - you’ll be proud of your accomplishment and he’s a lot of fun to use.
-
He is a solid base hit hitter. He can play multiple positions and has speed. Plus his path gives pretty decent rewards. With that said, I have not had him on the squad in at least a month. Replaced by Wagner on the bench and there are so many infielders now that you could do better in your starting lineup.
-
I haven’t seen a 99 Jackie in a lineup in 4-5 months. Meaning he probably isn’t good.

Hello.
I wanted to ask the opinions of people that performed the utter madness that is this ridiculously maddening grind for the Sig Series Jackie Robinson at 2nd to have on the team. So I'm through all of the stage 2 moments without yet finishing it yet (and this doesn't include the conquest map points yet)
Is this card even worth having online? I hate his swing, these moments are maddening, and even the stage 4 voucher moments where its the best version seem like hitting with anybody below 80 power in 18' despite the different hitting engine and the insane contact/vision. I know there's HRB Cano, and I have some solid utility PS 2020 cards and Topps Now for 2nd base, but is this Jackie worth going for?
Honestly if they didn’t release the conquest map to get a huge chunk done, I’d have never finished it. His lower ranked cards stink, but I do really like his signature series card.
