More server error messages, lost progress in player programs, unstable community market connection on the web. Just another day for MLB The Show 21. As a longtime player of this series, shocked at how bad this game experience has been over two weeks after launch.

Well done, SDS. The Show is the best sports video game on the market, still delivering long after baseball season has ended,
Quick pitching might be the most cheesy part about playing online. It's a baseball video game, not a basketball video game. Whenever I play a guy who brings this cheese, I will hit R2, step out of the box or pause the game repeatedly to slow things down.
Even if he is a possible find in Conquest, Robbie Cano looks like an absolute steal right now after his price cut in half to at under 40K. Put him right in my starting lineup!
If I see Shippett pop up as the stadium on my screen in ranked, I might ask for a friendly quit. So tired of nine innings of the same old, same old. SDS should just make the stadiums random, at least in ranked.
Larry Walker when his price drops back in the low 90s and don't worry about right field the rest of the year
It's questions like these that remind me how helpful it was to have a game manual included with the game.

Holding R2 is way more cheesy then quick pitching, great post!
How is throwing pitches 2-3 seconds apart anything like real baseball?
The dashboard on the MLB The Show website is completely unaccessible. Was getting frequent error connect messages earlier but now cannot even log on to the dashboard

What’s the point in taking your time? Just makes the game go longer.
It's a baseball game. What's your rush?

@mrmagnetic_psn said in Server issues - SDS need to give something to the players:
San Diego Studios need to do something with all the server disconnections and server issues. They need to either provide all users with a ton of free packs, or they need to provide a ton of stubs to each of the players. This is getting problematic. Turn off the cross platform. EA doesn't do cross platform on Madden nor does 2K for NBA. Keep the servers separated until you can get enough capital to fix the cross platform servers. Playstaion users play with Playstation and Xbox plays with Xbox.
Absolutely agree with everything here. Game developers clearly weren’t prepared for cross platform and it is totally unnecessary
I paid $85 to play that "silly online stuff" pal. Otherwise I would have just kept playing the 20 version.

Curious if anyone has tried to take their game back to the retailer seeking a full refund and if so what kind of response they got? I know they typically won't take back unsealed games as a rule but I'm wondering if they might make an exception to their policy in this case considering the disastrous game launch.
If I buy a new vehicle and the check engine light keeps coming on, the vehicle keeps stalling out or won’t start, the odometer is giving inaccurate readings and the motor is leaking oil all over the highway, I’m pretty sure that in many states the seller would have to give me my money back if the problems weren’t fixed after repeated trips to the repair shop. It’s not like they can not respond to my concerns, keep my money and just hope I go away. Although I didn’t purchase a new vehicle for thousands of dollars, I did buy a video game at a premium pre-order price, and the product has failed miserably to live up to expectations.
I get an access denied message when I try to log in to the MLB The Show 20 game web site
Where is fast mode in the settings for the show?
So are we bashing SDS now for giving us too much of a good thing?
