Yeah man, congrats on the new edition!

    Thanks!

And I'm interested in the league, but obviously not likely to look at anything right away or a few days at least.

I’m waaaay late to this party. 40-year old father of 4 here, first year playing DD and about a .500 winning percentage level player, but lots of experience playing Bases Loaded, Baseball Stars, and Ken Griffey Jr Baseball lol. Did I miss the cutoff to get in this league?

Ok. So I fell way behind in this. Awesome posts. I found one of my Atari “Baseball” games from 1982 in a box over the weekend - need to figure out how to share the pic.

Anyway, so we’re locked in on:

    1. No limits on overalls
    2. No CAPS
    3. All Star mode so us old guys can see the ball coming

Just need to decide between the following for lineups:

    1. DD lineups (with all the new cards there is bound to be variety)
    2. Pick a team and use all time team
    3. Some other theme (only 80’s and 90’s players?) for our generation

Lastly, Over 40 league or Dads of any age? I am both so I don’t care lol - just want to keep this a fun league and not have to play crazy good full time players

This is a great idea! Please put me on the list of interested 🙂

Hey everyone, we're still trying to get enough guys interested to get this league started up. Some of you said you were interested and were invited to the chat but we haven't heard from you guys. If anyone is still interested please respond in the chat to let us know. If you are interested but haven't been invited to the chat also let us know and we can add you.

I would love to be a part of a "dad's league!" This is my 1st year playing the Show, so I'm not sure what I need to do to join a chat or add my name to the list.

    Any direction is much appreciated!

Hey guys, No you aren't too late for the league. We have a chat set up and we're still trying to gauge interest and get everything coordinated. I'll add you guys so you can participate as well. Let me know if you have trouble getting in or don't get the invite for whatever reason.

I go all the way back to Atari baseball. Original Nintendo baseball. Then RBI came out.

I am an older dad who loves playing the show. I’ve been playing literally forever and I started back when RBI baseball and bases loaded we’re groundbreaking games On my Nintendo.

Are used to buy every single baseball game that came out every year and we compare them all and pick my favorite one. Do you think we have glitches now? Imagine having baseball players come up left-handed but have them be in the right handed box facing the wrong way. Then when you tried to take it back to the store they would not give you your money back!

Anyway, I am a closet player. I’m actually embarrassed to tell people I play so I never have anyone to share accomplishes with.

So all that said, are there any dads like me out there?

Brother I am a father of three and I play the hell out of not only The Show, but all of my games. It has been and probably will always be a part of my life.
